Good night everyone,

We have receiced several mails asking to remove the registration requirement to download the SWBFSpy patch, but I want to explain publicly why we do not want to do it:

• We want to keep track of the amount of downloads the files get.
• We can't vouch for files which are not uploaded in this forum. Files uploaded somewhere else could be corrupted.
  
• If we get to improve the patch by adding features (e.g. the leaderboards), it would be helpful if the client is registered here.
• In case of important events such as a masterserver maintenance, we'd post about it only here.
  

Hope this list makes you understand our point of view.

During the Xmas holidays season, SWBFSpy's usage has increased by 20% compared to the previous months.

The amount of downloads increased a lot during this time as well, almost reaching 1000 downloads (SWBF1 Patch) and 1500 downloads (SWBF2 Patch) - http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=54

Also, I would like to point out that the forum has now more than 12000 registered members!

We've created a private board private viewable by SWBF2 server hosts where we'll discuss about security and bans.
Post here if u want to be added to the board.
Note that NO information must be leaked or discussed outside that board.

Hello everyone.
As u know, we're hosting public community servers in EU (Frankfurt) and the US (Chicago), in both SWBF1 and SWBF2.
If the servers are not reachable it is not because we have shut them down, but because it has crashed. Feel free to post here if that happens, or u are not able to see them.

Good night everyone.

During the past months we've worked a lot to grow the amount of players in SWBFSpy. And I'd like to congratulate each player who has helped or contributed somehow to SWBFspy. However, there are some players who don't seem to like what we're trying to build: a new community. And in order to disturb us, they have decided to cause us problems by attacking our Gameservers (crashing them, DDoSing, hacking, etc). This means that they ruin the fun of all the players hosted in those servers, and so that we can stop them we've had to stay alert to each attack and try to prevent it somehow (For instance, I had to contact the NFO Support because one of their machine was being used for this purpose).
Now I wanna make sure everyone knows that what they do and say has consequences:
SWBFSpy will not allow anyone cause this damage to anyone, and if someone is caught attacking any server, we will take all actions on our part to prevent the trouble makers from ruining SWBF/SWBF2 for the players.
