SWBF1 2v2 TDM 2015 Summer Cup *Cancelled*

Hello everyone! I'm here to announce I will be hosting the first ever 2vs2 TDM Summer Cup Tournament! All the details are listed below, to sign up either contact one of the admin or reply to this topic with your team name and the participates on that team. If you don't think you can make the majority of the matches then please do not sign up. We will need at least 8 teams for this tournament to happen.

Server Host:
1. Phobos

Date/Time: June 12th 2015 3PM EST

Server Settings:

1. CP's will be locked.
2. 30 reinforcements per round.
3. Fairsides on.
4. Waiting for players set to 4. (Unless Admins want to spectate then it will be higher)
5. US servers only.
6. Tk off
7. GCW only.

Tournament/Match Rules:

1. No gloating, harassment or trolling.
2. Kills Only (30 Kills)
3. No double class. Example you can't have two Dark Troopers or two Pilots and etc. 1 Dark Trooper and 1 Pilot is acceptable. You may use any class combination you want besides. (You also may use 1 Rebel Pilot and 1 Empire Pilot)
4. 30 kills to win.
5. Double elimination.
6. Radar is allowed.
7. Screenshots must be taken of every match. (Unless a Admin spectates the whole match)
8. If your partner can't show up one day you may get a sub as long as it's a player that's not participating on another team in the tournament.

Each team will veto 1 map and each team will pick 1 map if you tie 1-1 you will play the last remaining map as a tiebreaker. Everyone who participates in this tournament MUST download the map pack.

I'm sure everyone knows how to add mod maps, if not you can simply PM Phobos or I.

Match Scheduling:

Each winner bracket round will be played on a Friday and start at 3PM EST and each loser bracket round will be played on a Saturday and start on 3PM EST. (Best time for both US and EU).

Example:

Round 1 Winner Bracket: June 12th

Round 1 Loser Bracket: June 13th

Round 2 Winner Bracket: June 19th

Round 2 Loser Bracket: June 20th

Bracket:

The bracket will be created the day the tournament starts. (June 12th) Once it's made no other team will be allowed to join unless another team drops out.

Sounds awesome. I think the double class rule will make things more interesting since it wouldn't just be DT spam. Unfortunately I have mid-year exams in June  Though I would love to film and possibly be reserve when possible.

Bomber, just an idea, but perhaps postponing the start date for another couple of weeks at least would improve the number of people participating. A lot of people are going through that thrilling exam experience.
