As you may know, hosting a server from your home computer generally results in the Ping showing up as N/A in the server browser, at least on PS2. Is there a specific port that needs to be forwarded to allow the ping to show correctly?

I currently forward:
TCP: 3389, 3558, 3658, 3659, 4658, 6500, 27900, 29910, 29920, 45000, 50139, 50140, 50143, 50156, 50210, 59589, 59673
UDP: 3558, 3658, 3659, 4658, 6500, 27900, 29910, 29920

Am I missing any here?

If it really uses ping, then it is ICMP controlled and is not a port.

You might see if there is a 'respond to ping' in your router/firewall.

My recollection is that this was an issue even before Gamespy went away.
