I have been working on my unit for the Battle Royale and it has been going great. It works in SP so I wanted to test its effectiveness against real players. I uploaded the all.lvl and the other person downloaded and installed it. I made a server and whenever they tried to join, the server crashed. I don't have any other non-OC mods installed. Why is the game crashing?

I have noticed that there are some servers that have enabled an "auto-heal" feature, where you slowly heal without the need of medpacks or a bacta droid. Is it possible to reverse this and make it still be online compatible? It would be cool to have a server where you slowly die and you are forced to move around and kill people in order to regain health.

This would prevent people from camping because they would slowly die. Campers would be forced to move around and kill people in order to get medpacks from their dead bodies.

For it to work, dead bodies would have to give a medpack 100% of the time, though.

I'm seriously addicted to the TV series "The Walking Dead" and I was just wondering if there were any free multiplayer zombie games out there that anyone knows about. I know of a few games, but they aren't free and I don't want to spend money on a game that I haven't tried.

Does anyone know if there has been a Scout Trooper with a jetpack model made? I would like to use it.

Does anyone know where I can find the wookie's hands? I looked in the wookie's MSH and it only calls for "wookie.tga" and "wookieface02.tga". I viewed the MSH in the SWBF MSH Viewer (after making changes to wookie.tga and wookieface02.tga) and it shows all of the changes I made, but the wookie's hands are still stock.

Please help!

Hey, my friends and I want to start playing MC like we used to, but the person who had the server we always went on took his server down.

I figured that I would just make a server that we could play on, but it is getting very complicated. Before I mess it up really bad, could someone with some experience with this sort of thing help? I would like help from start to finish so that I know it will work.

I was asked by a couple people yesterday if it was possible to change your nickname on SWBF without making a new profile (or at least keeping your profile stats the same)

My question: will a nick changer work for Tunngle and GR? I have Scarecrows Dual Nickchanger, and it doesn't change my nick. What about Battlebelks Nickchanger?

Or is there any other way to do this?

Hey SWBFgamers! I just wanted to apologize up front for leaving so abruptly, but I guess a lot of people did with the whole Gamespy ordeal. It's a shame the MP servers are down... I'm gonna miss them.

I plan on installing the necessary things so I can continue to play online. Hopefully SWBF is still fun despite losing a lot of friends. Anyways, it's great to see the this site's still very active, I have a lot to catch up on.

For my upcoming Halloween mod, I wanted to change my bes2.lvl, but I don't have the assets to this CC skin that I wanted to use on this mod.

Is it possible to change CC so that the Empire controls all CP's except for the CFC, which the Rebels would have, without changing the bes2.lvl? I was looking through the mod tools, and the only thing I found that looks like it might be able to, was mission.lvl. Would it be possible to make those changes through mission.lvl?

Today I got to day dreaming (I do that a lot) and got to thinking about SWBFgamers. I am very curious as to how this site came to be what it is today.

Who's idea was it? When was the site created? Who were the first forum staff? What were the first forum topics?

I think some others may be curious too.

I've wanted to edit Bespin: Cloud City to make it my own for quite some time, now. Unfortuanally, when I try to load it, many things go wrong. Here's what I did:

I went into BFBuilder and told it to make a new world called besc. I then when to the Bespin Assets folder and copied everything there to my besc assets folder and replaced the old files. I then went into BFBuilder and loaded besc with Zero Editor. Then, I made the view wire and looked around and saw nothing, except for two random CPs in the middle of the map...

Please help!

I did all of that, and something else is wrong.

I was going through my AddOn maps that I have yet to try, and I saw Ranen: Platforms and decided to try it out. The first thing I noticed was the awesome skins! Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find them, or who made the map. There was no ReadMe, and I searched for the map in downloads and nothing showed up.

I can take screenshots if needed.


I also like the weapons used. I would really like to know who made it so I can talk to them.

I am just curious as to which .lvl  file is your favorite to mod. If you vote, please post to support your opinion.
You can justify that your favorite is the easiest, hardest, most fun, or most things to change. You can vote twice on this! 

My personal preference is the side.lvl and mission.lvl files. I find that the side.lvls allow you to customize and make things look your own. I also like the fact that you can edit alot of weapons and unit stats in side.lvl. The reason mission.lvl is my second favorite, is because I learned to mod it first, and I got the hang of it very quickly. I like to edit the map.lua to customize the playable factions on your server how you want and I like to change the map stats to change the height and stuff.

It was requested that someone make a drunk-like mod. 
I figured it was worth a shot, I just want some feedback of some things I could edit that are Online Compatible.

Some ideas for things to be edited:
-Unit Speed
-Super Nades
-Jump Height
-Crazy-looking skins
-Map height
-No collision damage
-Jedi/Sith as special classes

I will release this sometime this week, most likely.
I can't do it today, but I would like some feedback for more mission or side.lvl edits that are Online Compatible.

Buckler, would you mind if I released this with your edit Cloud City that you used to April Fools?
I will give you credit.
