Hello, you wonderful battlefronter!
the Multiplayer on the Internet has been restored but you are wondering what needs to be done to get your game back on.
Well, you're in luck because it's really quite simple! Star Wars Battlefront Multiplayer over the Internet no longer uses GameSpy as a host. Instead it uses GameMaster.

Here are the 3 ways you can test for getting back online on Starwars Battlefront 1 multiplayers.

First thing : make sure the version of Battlefront 1 you are using is version 1.2
Launch your game / select your profil / multiplayers / at the top it is written 1.2 or 1.0
you can download the automatic 1.2 version right here :

Now you got 1.2 version working. you can test one of these ways for playing online :

Navigate to : Start / Computer / local disc C / Windows / System 32 / drivers / etc / open hosts with note-pad
Replace the old text with this new one :

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 1 ONLINE - BATTLEFRONT.exe REPLACEMENT

You have to register on the website for getting access to the patch. All you have to do is download a new Battlefront exe and put it into a specific folder.

What folder, you ask? Easy! Your Battlefront game is in your LucasArts folder.
C:\ProgramFiles\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData
GameData! That's the folder! Move your new exe into there.

Where do you get this new exe? Right here:

Hallo ihr Lieben!
Vielleicht habt ihr mitbekommen, dass der Multiplayer für das Internet wieder verfügbar ist.
Nun fragt ihr euch was ihr braucht um's wieder zum laufen zu bekommen?
Wie ihr wisst lief alles bisher über die Masterserver von GameSpy, da diese runtergefahren wurden, konnten auch keine Server mehr erstellt werden. Jetzt hat GameMaster aber einen neuen Masterserver zur Verfügung gestellt, wodurch wir wieder battlefront via Internet zocken können OHNE extra Programme.

Hier im Folgenden sind drei Möglichkeiten wieder online zu gehen in Star Wars Battlefront 1.

WICHTIG: Bevor ihr beginnt, stellt sicher, dass ihr die 1.2 Version und keine andere benutzt.
Zur Überprüfung kann du einfach dein Spiel starten und im Hauptmenü am oben Bildrand gucken
ob 1.2 oder 1.0 dort steht. Du kannst die 1.2 Version als selbstinstallierenden Patch hier runterladen, solltest du sie noch nicht haben:

So, nun solltest du alles haben um die Veränderungen für das Online spielen via Internet durchzuführen:

1. Starte den Explorer
2. Gehe zu folgenden Pfad: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

WEG 2: STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 1 ONLINE - BATTLEFRONT.EXE ERSETZEN

WICHTIG: Du musst dich auf der Website erst registrieren bevor du Zugang zum Patch erhälst. Du musst nichts weiter tun als eine neue Battlefront.exe runterzuladen und sie in den Star Wars: Battlefront Ordner zu platzieren:

C:\ProgramFiles\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData

(Du kannst vorsichtshalber deine aktuelle .Exe-Datei Back-Upen bevor du sie durch die neue ersetzt ;-)

Starte nun als letzten Schritt das Spiel und klicke auf
Multiplayer > Internet > bei Gamespy auf "ohne einloggen" klicken > Server beitreten!

Installeer gamemaster door op setup te klikken.Als je melding in een window krijg met (als je dit in beeld krijgt dan is hij geinstalleerd) in het engels (if you see this than you have instald gamemaster). 2e bestand is een exe van starwars battlefront. op bestand rechtermuisknop klikken dan kopieeren-daarna naar programfiles/lucasarts/starwarsbattlefront openen en op Gamedata rechtermuisknop plakken doen. Dan krijg je melding overschrijven ja of nee - ja doen en dan moet het werken (Dus in de map Gamedata plakken en niet in de map starwarsbatttlefront) succes

1.lépés Természetesesen játék installálása! J

5.lépés Amikor elindítjátok a játékot a Battlefront.exével tudjátok elindítani tottalcommanderből.
6.lépés Amikor bent vagytok a játékban rámentek a multiplayerre és kidob egy ablakot ott rámész,hogy internet és végül felajánlja  a játék,hogy szeretnél-e létrehozni egy gamespy ikont ott rámentek a nemre és tudtok is játszani multiba. Ennyi lenne igazából!

Star wars Battlefront przez internet nie jest dłużej hostowany przez GameSpy.
Natomiast hostuje GameMaster. Wszystko co musisz zrobić to pobrać nowy battlefront exe i wrzucić to do danego folderu.

Pytasz jaki folder?

Gamedata! Ten folder! Do tego folderu wrzuć twój nowy plik exe. Skąd pobierasz ten exe? Stąd :

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 1 онлайн - замена стартового файла Battlefront.exe

STARWARS BATTLEFRONT 1 ONLINE - EXE. replacement

Instrucciones para el instalador de GameMaster (Parche para jugar Multijugador)

Que es GameMaster?

GameMaster es un parche que nos permitirá unirnos a servidores o partidas en Linea del Star Wars Battlefront 1.


Para instalar el nuevo parche multijugador del Star Wars Battlefront 1, necesitarás descargar el archivo del siguiente link:

Una vez extraída la carpeta contenedora verás 2 archivos: Battlefront.exe y gamemasterinstaller.exe.



Primero, tenés que ejecutar el archivo gamemasterinstaller.exe y darle al botón "Install", esto se instalará automáticamente (tarda alrededor de 20, 30 segundos o menos).



Una vez terminado de parcharse el juego, tendrás que copiar o cortar el archivo battlefront.exe y pegarlo en la carpeta GameData del juego que se encuentra en:
Disco Local C: Archivos de Programas/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront/GameData, pegás el ejecutable aquí y listo.

Nota II: Necesitarás ejecutar el parche/programa como administrador en Windows 7/8 para poder instalarlo correctamente.

Como entrar a la lista de servidores?

1). Clickeás la opción de Multiplayer.

3). Clickeás Join y listo te saldrá la lista de servidores que hay en linea disponibles.

Una vez hecho esto, le das click a salvar y cerrás el bloc de notas.
Finalmente abrís el juego, vas a multiplayer(multijugador), das click en Internet,
te saldrá el siguiente mensaje (do you want to create a gamespy account)
te pregunta si querés o deseás crear una cuenta en gamespy, le das click en no, luego de esto le das click a Join y listo con esto te tendrían que salir la lista de los servidores que están en línea disponible.

Bienvenue, joueur de Battlefront !

Le multijoueur via internet a été rétabli, et si jamais vous souhaitez jouer en ligne, c'est très simple.
Star Wars Battlefront n'utilise plus GameSpy en tant qu'hébergeur, mais GameMaster

Voilà trois méthodes pour désormais accéder au multijoueur :

Première étape : vérifiez que votre jeu est en version 1.2
Lancez le jeu > Choisissez votre profil > Multijoueur > En haut sera écrit votre version du jeu ( 1.0 ou 1.2 )
Vous pouvez télécharger l'installateur pour le patch 1.2 ici :

Maintenant que votre jeu est préparez, vous pouvez suivre une des méthodes suivantes pour jouer en ligne :

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 1 EN LIGNE - EDTION DU FICHIER HOSTS

Allez vers : Démarer / Ordinateur / Disque Local C: / Windows / System32 / drivers / etc

Dans ce dossier, ouvrez le fichier hosts avec le Bloc Note et remplacez son contenu par le texte suivant :

This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

For example:

localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

Enregistrez le fichier et fermez la fenêtre. ( Faites attention à ce que le fichier n'ait pas d'extension, ne l'enregistrez pas en .txt )

Enfin, allez en jeu : Multijoueur > Internet : (Voulez vous créer un compte GameSpy) dites Non , Rejoignez des serveurs en ligne !

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 1 EN LIGNE - REPLACER BATTLEFRONT.exe

Il vous faut vous inscrire au site internet pour accéder à l'installateur. Tout ce que vous avez besoin de faire, c'est télécharger le nouveau Battlefront.exe pour qu'il remplace l'ancien.

Pour cela, accédez au dossier suivant :
C:\ProgramFiles\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData
Vous y déplacerez le nouveau Battlefront.exe que vous pouvez téléchargez au lien suivant :

Si jamais vous ne souhaitez pas déplacer vous même le fichier, il y a inclu dans le téléchargement un installateur qui fera tout automatiquement.

Puis allez en jeu : Multijoueur > Internet : (Voulez vous créer un compte GameSpy) dites Non , Rejoignez des serveurs en ligne !
