How do i re-enable lightsaber block for heroes

I´ve seen that some mods have done it, but i want the vanilla sides with heroes being able to block blasters like in the console versions of the game, since people have done it in their mods, how do i do it? how do i give the heroes that ability back? i have the latest gog/steam version of the game, if that matters. Thanks
