Galactic Warfront - SWBF2 PS2 server with a persistent war and live stats [Beta]

[subvoltic]

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a SWBF2 PS2 server called Galactic Warfront and wanted to invite people to give it a try.

It has a persistent Galactic War with separate campaigns for both eras. Battle results determine planet control. When a faction takes every battlefield in its era, it wins the war and the map resets for the next one.

There's also a public dashboard with a live battle map, player scoreboard, territory map, leaderboards, individual player stats, and battle and war archives. Players can earn faction badges for participating in winning wars.

The server has Elite bots, friendly fire off, and 200% reinforcements for Conquest and Assault. There are also custom AI combat, navigation and hero changes. Bots can use heroes, including taking an offer after a human declines. No extra client mods are needed.

Full disclosure, this project was built entirely with AI assistance. I'm not a professional programmer or server admin, just someone who wanted to put this together and see what was possible. Consider it a beta. Some things might break, stats might need fixing, and the AI changes still need more testing.

Everything has just been reset for a fresh start. Look for Galactic Warfront in the PS2 server list. Give it a few rounds and let me know how it goes!
