Making a 'take off' and 'landing' animation?

I've made myself a TIE Striker model and I need to make the takeoff and landing animations but I can't seem to find a decent tutorial on how to animate it.

I also would love to do such animations but i also dont know how.The only solution is to watch from already made animations and to learn like that.Ask Sereja to make such tutorial...if he have time of course.
