Hi guys I recently made an inquiry on this site about events. I'm happy to say that an admin answered my question.
Ironically, it was info that I could have gotten for myself. I'll admit I should have looked a little harder before I made the post. If I had I wouldn't have needed to ask.  I have also been made aware that, because I posted on both these forums and the discord page I may have made some administrators/staff feel that I was being impatient. It also may have caused some admins/staff to feel that I was implying that they were not doing "their job". This was not in any way an intentional effort on my part to suggest this. I'm not sure why I posted in both places, I'll make sure to avoid doing so in the future. I can now see why the posts caused this to occur. The timing of my posts also may have contributed. There also may have been some other members of the community that the posts caused to feel similarly.
Despite the fact that my words were not meant to convey what some of you might have taken away from it, it's obvious to me that the blame falls on my shoulders. I want to let all admins/staff know I'm grateful for all the work you do, and that I DON'T think that any of the admins/staff aren't living up to some strange "standard" . All of the the admins and staff have been very helpful to me since I joined. It's clear that they all have dedicated a tremendous amount of their own personal time to the site over a number of years. Thanks for understanding.

Hi guys, I just got a copy of swbf2, and wow have I been missing out. I've owned swbf1 for years and when, earlier this month I found a website devoted to these games that still had active community I was pretty thrilled. I even got a second copy of swbf1 for a friend of mine and we put in a good couple of hours on the server. (I don't think he's made a profile here, although he might.) Don't get me wrong swbf1 is a very good game but.... We all know it had its flaws, not big or glaring issues but more like a feeling that you found yourself saying frequently "Hey wouldn't it be cool if (insert any part of the star wars lexicon here) was in the game?" I also think it was also easier for me to play down these flaws when I was so enthralled by the mere fact that it kinda makes you feel like you're a part of the action. Swbf2 takes steps to address many of those commonly agreed upon issues with its predecessor. The best part is the additional classes. (imo) I probably would have agreed that a few more classes would've done some good to keep the game play from becoming somewhat stale. I didn't realize just how much this improves gameplay until I played it myself. There are a bunch of things in this game that I didn't even know I wanted. Anyway, looking forward to playing such an amazing game with you guys!

Well yesterday my new network adapter arrived in the mail. Now that I'm able to play online, are there certain days or times when activity is high?

Well after much more time than I expected I'll finally be able to join in on the action! I wasn't really thinking when I clicked add to cart on an network adapter it was a 3rd party adapter and was disappointed when it seemed it was broken out of the box. Only to revisit Amazon and find that it states on the page that it does not have Ethernet functionality and was only made for SATA hard drive use. Despite having an Ethernet plug it was purely aesthetic. Of course this wont do me any good so l returned it. Well I have now ordered one that DOES have Ethernet functionality. I'm sure this will probably draw a few chuckles, after all what kind of idiot doesn't read product descriptions or reviews? Oh, wait that would be me. Anyway all kidding aside it'll get here between the 29th and September 4th. I also purchased an additional copy of swbf 1 for a friend of mine who has a ps2 slim who will probably be joining in at some point. I don't think I told him about this site, but I'll let him know. Picked up a copy of battle front 2 (PS2) so I'll be playing some of that once my adapter arrives. Looking forward to playing some swbf! 

I did know about the cancelation of a sequel called imperial commando but i didnt know enough to mention it I didnt want to give out any false info.  I didnt realize how early it was canceled though. I remember a couple years ago someone pulled an obvious hoax claiming there would be an announcement/trailer for imperial commando at e3.

Star Wars Republic Commando is a great game with a lot of unresolved story points, don t worry I won't spoil it for you. A lot of things.stand out to me including that you team mates ai is actually pretty good your not babysitting them like a lot of poor ai causes. Anyway what do think should it get a sequel?

Hi! New member, just joined! Looking forward to using the forum! Unfortunately until I get a new network adapter I won't be able to join in on the fight.  Hopefully It won't be too long before I do. My work schedule is kinda all over the place right now, but it's only temporary. I'll be back to a more stable schedule soon. Speaking of work it probably was a bad idea staying up all night and posting on a forum dedicated to swbf at 4:44 est am when I have a 4-8pm shift in less than 12 hours.....    Nah responsibility is for chumps! Let's play video games!
