Money!

I wonder what the George Lucas sequel trilogy would have looked like if chose to do that instead of his museum.

If you buy it on steam or GOG it will all work like it used to. Hope to see you there!

Yes, it's been consistent numbers in the evenings recently (European timezones) and a good mix of old and new players.

A good time to join games

Just had a play around on the map. It's good fun with a lot of memories coming back walking round the screenshots archive.

Yes, there's still a small but active multiplayer community with players most evenings. It doesn't need a great pc to play so get it on steam and come and join us.😁

In edge you just need need to click on the download icon in the browser as it's downloading then right click and select keep so there's a couple of options.

For anyone who hasn't seen, GOG have announced they're protecting 162 games including battlefront to keep them playing on future operating systems. Fingers crossed it works!

On a side note it's also 75% off and there's more players in game so if you read this start playing 😉

Welcome to swbfgamers!

Thanks Anyder. Yes we have a discord channel but you can just join Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings European time and some of us will be playing.

Late happy birthday! Hopefully most of us will still be here for another 20

You must like really long games if you like that map 😉

Thanks for the fix. It's now one tap on my phone to visit here, not two.

And that's not sarcasm, it genuinely is really nice 🙂

Overall I've been happy with the multiplayer and having a great time but minor issues I've come across that hopefully will be patched:
Mouse wheel isn't consistent to change weapons, I had to put it on another key. The mouse is fine in other games.

No option to reverse x axis when flying. The button has disappeared so I assume it's a mistake.

No option to cancel if you select the wrong spawn or unit, you have to watch the whole countdown.

No Jabba on the official servers

Ahead of the re-re-release, we're moving our March event up to Saturday March 9th in order to host another Steam event before the Classic Collection comes out. While steam MP is far from being perfect, it did bring a lot of new players and revived the game.

As always the event will start at 8pm CET/2pm EST.
To make this the biggest event possible we ask each and every one of you to spread the word and to come play of course.

All are welcome to join the discord and join us on steam or spy every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday or just for the event.

P.S.

Thanks to everyone who joined yesterday's Spy event as well. 🙂

I'm optimistic they'll do a good job and only change background things to get it working, nothing gameplay related. This could be a very good 20th birthday present. For the game not for me sadly 😉

Not a chance of a free update I don't think.

I just tried a load of random maps by Sereja and they all work. I get a security alert but i just skip it and press keep because they're all safe.
