SWBF1 Modding / Re: Modding using paint.net?
July 25, 2010, 10:04:15 PM
long story short: download the modding tools and get bfbuilderpro, make a new project, import retail side (whatever side you want to skin/edit) go to C:/BFBuilder/Data(modID)/Sides/ and whatever side you imported should be there. Go to the MSH folder where all the textures and models can be found. Textures are .tga files and models are .msh files. You can change skins by opening the .tga files with paint.net and editing to your liking then save with RLE COMPRESSION OFF. Click munge and then go to C:\BFBuilder\AddOn\NAMEOFYOURMOD\Data\_lvl_pc\Side and copy and paste the into your SWBF side folder and you're good to go. Xfire me for more detailed instructions Jamman

most of those vacant rooms in cloud city are just buildings they added to make the city boundaries more defined and so that you couldn't see out of the city

whats the fun in playing with a really messed up rancor model? and don't say it's supposed to be like that when you don't have a fix for it.

Delete the neutral cp inside the mountains. It's annoying to see on the mini map.

What modeling program is that? And do you know how to use the Mesh Exporter to get the objects/vehicles in-game?

as of 9:04 pacific time March 31st, you can still download any file from swbffiles, all you have to do is use the "search" button. They don't show up when you just click maps, but if you search for a map it will show up. You can still download anything you want from swbffiles if you know the name of the file your looking for. Hurry and download while you still can.

i use ceiling bounce nades on cc, meaning that it bounces off the ceiling and sticks on the ground. Almost all the nade moves i use wouldn't kill me if TK was on. And either with teams or 1 on 1 i know im better than yankee
(no offense to yankee) he's really good too.

I hate staying back in my cp and sniping, I always charge full speed and use my nades to kill any rockets or pilots. I always keep my aim at head level for easy headshots, and people wonder how i do it. If sniping was so easy everyone would be really good at it. Oh and, on PC online the first unit people really liked alot was sniper, it was always popular.
