Change your Battlefront Registry entry to match the new repertory it is in.

This should come in handy to test your textures.

As for them appearing blank in game, it may be due to the way the program you use exports them. Send'em textures to me so I can see wheres the issue.

SWBF1 Modding / Re: Editing The Sky

Well, BFbuilder ships the game's sides, and the sky can be edited by opening the skybox texture file in GIMP or Photoshop, as for the hovering ships/entities it is one thing I haven't tinkered with yet so I can't tell.

SWBF2 Modding / Re: Weapon Sound Issue
September 25, 2017, 02:24:24 AM
Each side has its own sounds, which are loaded by the Mission.lvl file into the game, as an example, vanilla Clone Wars levels loads CIS and REP sounds and assets, which allows one to swap sounds to their liking. If you cross sides, the files won't load unless you specify it in the level file inside the mission.lvl file, resulting in the weapon going silent.
I assume that you have tried to cross sides since that issue happens only when making a typo or forgetting to load a file in the mission.lvl

I assume that you run into the x64 computer problem then here's a fix.

http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=3083.0

You can also add this line to the mod's munge.bat file, which is the fix I actually recommend because it is x100 times more convenient.

And finally you definitely should check out some of these

They have the power to considerably reduce headaches and make modding a ton easier. :D

Also I'd like to add that there's a weird issue going on when running the SWBFSpy executable with a NVIDIA GPU with Optimus on Windows, no server appears as if the regular Vanilla .exe is launched, oddly enough, the issue is absent when ran through Bumblebee and Wine on Linux.

I think I've figured out what the problem is. Since I'm using Wine, it takes a really long time to load up. And I believe if you are joining a server for longer than 60 seconds, that you get automatically booted from the server or it will "Time Out". And it takes me about 2 minutes to load up the map, so I think everything works but I'm getting "Timed Out" or booted. Let me know if anyone knows how to get the game to load up faster. Thank you for your help.
I have actually managed to make Battlefront work awesomely on Wine, the only problem being slow loading times, a guy actually found a fix, but you have to compile a special version of wine in order to implement the patch in the build, here's a link to the bug that is currently worked on :

Well that will do, When you've done, attach the file then I will give it to whoever the judge is. I'm trying to make zombie storm troopers and ghost buster rebels but they all go blank. That's what my other topic was about. ;)
Gah, I would like to but I'm absolute 0 with 3d mod tools, I'm better when tinkering with code...
Good luck with your ghostbusters mod though, if you manage to make the units I bet I could help with the code, and if you manage to create a proton gun I bet I could get it to work a bit like in the movies.

Well it is meant to be a Halloween mod and if not, it has to be something to do with zombies. Would you be entering?

So, Enter below please and if any master modders or staff want to judge, send a personal message to me.

Well, zombies would be a bit too complicated to do if you ask me, like, if I start working on such a mod, I'm affraid that I would loose my sanity and become this *COUGH*

guy.

A jack o lantern head mod for StormTroopers is the kind of thing I have in mind.  :P

Interesting, I had the same issue two years ago but I somehow managed to fix it, have you tried to mess up with the compatibility settings on Windows 7 ? If I manage to figure out how I fixed the issue I'll let you know.

Two questions :

1- Is it just a normal competition organized for Halloween or has it to be related to the event

And

2- What does it takes to be Master Modder ?

Well perhaps a misspell in the unit's .ODF file that leads the texture to not load, you should post a screenshot and the content of the unit's .odf file so I can tell you where's the problem.

As for now I don't really know how to help you as I don't exactly know what is your issue, can you post a screenshot of the console after munging?
