I hope they bring back Revan like they had planned in Star Wars the Clone Wars, instead they didn't add him, they only added Darth Bane.

With the reveal of Grand Admiral Thrawn, I'm very excited about it!

If the instant action thing goes through it could be a similar situation to Simcity. You can make client side changes to multiplayer, and make "simulation changes" (which they said you weren't allowed to do, but people did anyway) on single player, but they wouldn't work on multiplayer (well they would, but you would get rollbacks).

Would Client side mods continue to work on EA's BF? Would it get roll backed?

What is your graphics card and OS?
Have tried changing some settings around on the card?

My Graphics card is AMD Radeon R7 240 and my OS is Windows 10.

And no, I haven't changed any settings around yet.

I tried this and it still happens, but what I've noticed is that the shadows go away when I pause the game. And then reappear seconds after I unpause it.

I'll bet anything that when the Death Star map is released in the Death Star DLC in September, I bet that the SWBF and SWBF2 maps for the death star will be much bigger than EA's one.

As you can see on my steam thing down below, I do indeed play SWBF2 and SWBF1 but SWBF1 isn't on steam. Which confuses me.

But that's a Single Player game. They can't really do much to stop Single Player from getting modded.

Unless they add a way to detect skin customization that they haven't added, then there is nothing they can do to stop client side custom skins on their BF.

Oh wow! That Amazon thing could get complicated. Should I just get SWBF2 on steam? The SWBF1 is in the UK, and im in brazil right now, and the desktop i play on has no play for a disk (Wierd right?). I think i should just get swbf2, right?

Yeah, SWBF2 on Steam would be more reliable. But, it's your decision!

Here's an idea as well: why not allow people to use tools to make their own skins on PC, upload those to a server and allow them to be downloaded by anyone?

Yeah, and then those skins would be able to be used by anyone without having to get to a certain level in game.

I'm not good at modding, so I wish this was a thing as I hate the leveling system in EA's SWBF.

A similar texture issue like this happens on SWBF 1. Turn the shadow detail down.

I turned the shadow's off in game and this thing still happens. It has nothing to do with any of my mods as I play on an online server which has Empire on the map and it still happens.

Texmod skinning? I've never actually searched for it up until literally just now, but it should be doable, if it's not already been done. The trouble is, even searching for one on YouTube or Google brings up a ton of SWBF2 mods first.

I'd love for this to be something, it'd make people happy as it would only be a client side thing. Right?

You can also bet some people have done basic skin modding via Texmod for the game.

Is that a thing for SWBF EA?

I know it's possible for SWBF the originals.

And besides, there are EA Battlefront mods out there.. Well, at least lighting and lensflare improving mods for battlefront EA.

This probably doesn't do much difference to the game, but this is what I found.

Could it have something to  do with texture settings?

I'm not sure, but it just goes like this whenever I go outside.
