The only issue with it for me is the single-player as well, I think the campaign in battlefront two is what makes it a great game and I think it's more fun than the Multiplayer. I don't think the game will be as complete without the option to play by yourself. If this is only multiplayer, it better be an incredible multiplayer game.

I just hope they don't allow playable jedi, if they do they need to be toned down from SWBF2. The jedi mauled over everybody in SWBF2, it pretty much ruined the gameplay.

Empire, the dark trooper is a beast at taking CPs and is better at hopping around the map than Jets. The pilot is one of the best units in the game, and the missile trooper is very good as well. I'd say the droids but the Dark trooper beats out the Droideka, maybe even the super battle droid too (though that's a very underrated unit)

Same here, it seems alot of people missed this match, how about another PW in 3-4 weeks?

Eh, lucasarts has been known to screw things over before so I'm not that positive about it. Although I'm glad Rebellion isn't making the game, so maybe there's some hope.

Both of the games are fun but they're pretty tough to beat- on both games I lose at stage 4.

Empire with CIS in a close second. CIS has a very good infantryman as well as a quick assault droid with plenty of ammo, and a good grenadier. It's a very underrated side.

Empire is the best for the good rocketeer as well as a good grenadier, and the Dark trooper is good for CP taking.

The truth is that all the tips you gave, while very helpful to new players, and thank you for posting them, are simply the basics. All advanced players are well beyond those tips.
And Americans are, if not better, at least as good as any nation of players you could possibly mention.
I've never seen you on Gameranger before, unless you go by a different name their. Do you play on GameRanger? Why don't you join in some night? The Pants players (including yours truly) and many other players, will show you quality play.

While quik is acting a bit self-righteous, I tend to agree Euros are better gamers on SWBF. Even back in the old days the German clans would do incredibly well and stomp us Americans, though American and Canadian players have won many times as well.

The fact is, just as Led said, most of the good american players stopped playing 2-3 years ago. They're on to call of duty, left for dead, gears of war, and whatever FPS's they can find. So no, not many decent American players are left- but I think there are still good american gamers on battlefront.

It might have something to do with the clone wars, but I don't think it's a sequel to The force unleashed. The trailer also used footage from the old republic, they were just using recent footage from recent games to make a really good trailer.
