As much I wanted to like captain phasma, FN 2999 stole the show. 2999 wasn't forced, a little brief moment like that gave him almost boba fett-like fame.

:tu: Well you could probably get away with more on SWBF2. Then you could port back stuff into SWBf1 later on.

After watching the clone wars TV series Darth Maul has become my favorite antagonist. He was wasted in episode 1 and that series showed us how much cooler he could have been on the big screen. He practically almost brought mandolore to its knees and had an army of smugglers, mandolorians, black son , syndicates at his disposal and more or less got his revenge on obi wan. Plus a sweet new pair of legs, man. When he went toe to toe with pre vizal, which in my opinion is one of the best saber fights on the show, it really showed how much of a beast he was. And technically he is still alive if you read the son of dathimor comics which are canon.

Total Biscuit does make some good points though. The first battlefronts were not perfect games, just like the new one. So things like having vehicles spawn in at posts helped hide some of the problems in the classic battlefronts because it helped sway our attention because we can just get in any vehicle willy nilly and go from there. The new pick system doesn't hide the flaws as much for the new battlefront. Still the new battlefront is a good game play wise, every review praises it for both the visuals and sound design. The only real problem is the lack of content from launch. The DLC is optional but 50 bucks for essentially multiplayer centered content is in my opinion a bad investment in the long run. Im sure the multiplayer will provide good times for at least a year more or less then poof.

Right now the single player content is garbage, in the next game they need to address some more offline single player stuff which I believe they stated they were going to do. Its too bad ill have to wait another 2 years to get something with the kind of content it should have had in the first place. On the plus side, the $340 I saved from cancelling my PS4 battlefront bundle has gone towards more Christmas gifts for my family and towards helping me collect some nice star wars memorabilia so that I can show my grandchildren one day.

I will eventually get the new battlefront, maybe when its in a more complete state at a more reasonable price.

The lead singer in the article, I don't necessarily agree for him to put a hissy fit in such a vuglar way, but at least he didn't bow down and sell out.

Right. Maybe a test map or an edited version of one of the vanilla maps would be a good starting point.

 :ohmy:  He was going to have to remove my mod from it along with some other people"s mods anyway. Since there were quite a few of us upset that no one was credited and he had used a tool to mix and match mods with totally different gameplay styles.

Wtf, that guy included my mod but i gave him no permission to upload it. Also he is asking for donations...wtf...he didnt make any of those mods. Im pretty t'd that he is even asking for donations.

 :tu: I think that is a good decision. With the uprising mod you could probably do more creative stuff. Ive been playing uprising and while the game-play is all right, the customization options for the characters open doors up for some really cool model and kitbash work.

Well im certainly not going to waste my money on every game that slaps the star wars title on the cover. Ive got bills to pay and those who dont pre-order shouldn't feel bad for doing so. Nothing wrong with waiting for something cheaper down the line, patience is a virtue and is rewarded often.  At the end of the day, its the same game weather you play it at launch or a few months later.

Requests / Engineer Weapon kitbash/new model

Unfortunatly psyc0fred(one of the original battlefront devs) never got around to releasing this beauty of a weapon he called the "engineer rifle".  It would have acted as something of a repair tool and personal weapon. If at all possible would anyone be willing to model this or something similiar to it?

I already created a weapon odf and some custom effects for this weapon. All it needs is a neat model to go with it.
I will be sure to add all appropriate credits,  the model does not need to be super perfect. If you wanted to take some libertys with the design and just edit/kitbash the defualt fusion cutter with a matching rifle model I would not object.

I understand you were wanted better facial textures for x1 and x2 over at that model resource website. You could in theory just take a nice snap shot from one of the beta cutscenes online for Free-radicals BFIII and photoshop onto your head texture.

I also hope you will put those uprising helmets to some exciting use.
