Title: Openspy, are we still using it?
Post by: Carbon27 on June 25, 2013, 06:29:43 PM
I see Openspy hasn't been working for a while, and before nobody was on it. Is it officially dead?  I really hope not, since that was my only hope for SWBF online.

I'd say its dead for BF1. Doesn't work for me or the FC servers anymore.

Well, that ruined my day...  and my week. :wall: At least I still have single player...   :mf:

I wouldn't consider it alive.

I pretty much only get on BF2 when I do have time to play now, though.

I'm guessing there isn't any other place we can reroute the Gamespy server either...
Openspy was my only hope of playing from home with slow Internet.  Tunngle is not friendly to my Internet.

Is anyone even running a server on it? It could be working, but we won't know unless there is a server.

Whenever I press "Join" it just stays at 0% so I guess mine is not working anymore.

Snake you need to press cancel for the servers to show (I think). But there may not be any servers or openspy may be offline.

I highly doubt there is even a server up right now, maybe I can convince my mom to let me host one.  :)

It doesn't really matter if there are any servers or not, it stays at 0%.

I'd play if it still worked, but it never loads like Snake's.

I get 0% hang but there must be something working with openspy because I can log into my Gamespy account. It only freezes after that.

Is it working for PS2? Then maybe we can find what this issue is and fix it so there are no crashes!  : :)
