Can anyone that understands the spring body and stuff more than I do come up with something that will fix this?:

Stock spring body, usualy is ok. Perhaps, you need to add some of this collision lines to skiff odf:
BuildingCollision = "CollisionMesh"
BuildingCollision = "p_vehiclesphere1"
BuildingCollision = "p_vehiclesphere2"
Or, maybe better fix floor collision...
Try making these values higher
SetAltitude = 0.5
GravityScale = 4.0
LiftSpring = 10.0
LiftDamp = 3.0
I use this for my air skiff but it should probably work on normal skiff.
Well, the collision worked but now the skiff just stays just kind of rocks back and forth when you try to go forward. I will try increasing the speed and see if that helps. Also, the AI pilot will only move the skiff when it's completely full, which rarely happens. Is there a way to either make all the AI want to be in the skiff, or to allow the AI pilot to go with only one or two spots filled?
Theres an odf code that makes ai wait for players or full passengers before moving vehicles, i dont remember it though but it has a 0/1 setting.

ReserveOneForPlayer = "0" it's used in Rep_fly_gunship odf.
If you set it to one, then you get the issue you have, but if that doesn't work, it's probably a deeper problem.
I also think that sinking effect could be a collision bug, which is why I'm still working on a better platform (which is coming along slower, but nicer than I expected), it doesn't have too many bugs, but lots to do until I can finish it.
Alright, I couldn't find the line in the Skiff .odf so I added it and put "0" but it still does it.. Maybe its just because the skiffs can't do anything except roll around out of control, trying to get out of some invisible tractor beam.. Any ideas? The building collision keeps it above the platform but it can't move correctly. Should I lessen gravity? Increasing the speed didn't seem to help.
I know this might seem like a dumb idea, but perhaps re-set the ODF to stock and see what happens. (Unless thats what was causing issues in the first place.)
No, that's just the problem we started out with. Here's some videos of what happens with the skiffs:

This is so weird.. I may just give up on the skiff. I made such a cool skin for it, though.. :(
LOL, leave it in the map, DO IT :D:D
It will be the one new thing that people think is totally awesome!
What's awesome about it? It just makes me dizzy! I kept the model, and invented a new turret along the way so I could keep my skiff. :)

As you can see, there is no driver, so it's just a turret "nest" with three turrets. I also made the turrets more like turrets should be..
Sweet, can't wait for it, Snakesta!
Same it looks dope!
You a gangster RepCom? Home Slice i cant wait for this map either!
