So I have been watching S5 of the Clone Wars series (strange, I have so much anime backlogged yet I am watching this lol) and thought that it would be really cool if instead of a Droideka, why not have one of those Droid Commandos? Even better; imagine a game with Republic Commandos versus Droid Commandos. That sounds pretty fun. I think that the Droid Commandos look pretty cool and could easily balance out the Jet Troopers on the Republic.

They (the preverbial "they") made a map just like that for SWBF2, but I have no idea where the link is for show.
That sounds pretty cool, I'm kinda backed up on projects to get started on anything though.

Not exactly the same one, the one I'm reffering to is finished, although this is neat as well, gives me ideas for the competition.

heh, you can just ask a moderator to move it.
Sereja made a mod for me once with the Droid Commando. There are assets for the skin and even the sword on Gametoast. It would just be the assembling of it that would take a while.
