Can you give a unit a tank/walker/ship/ect weapon and put model of a gun and it will shoot the weapon of that tank/ect?

Last time I tried this, It didn't work.
(Of course I didn't think about changing the gun model)
It's been a long time, so I may not be the most reliable source out there (lol), I will try this later.

so your talking like taking the gun off of a turret in Halo? cool idea.

I'm pretty sure this would be possible with the right kitbash, since the weapon barrels are attached as chunks to the vehicle msh, you could probably make it into its own msh by adding header info. I'd ask Tirpider he knows way more about this stuff and can probably give the the best answer.
