Title: lightsaber on jet clone?

im trying to make the emp rocket launcher and get rid of it and put a lightsaber in its place but im kinda confused on how to do that???  ???  :confused:

I normally enjoy answering questions but It's much better to just read up on tutorials and THEN ask questions.

yes uh wheres the weapon part of that.......  :ohmy: i dont see a weapon modding part!

WeaponName1       = "imp_weap_inf_shotgun"
WeaponAmmo1       = 7
WeaponName2       = "imp_weap_inf_pistol"
WeaponAmmo2       = 0
WeaponName3      = "imp_weap_inf_thermaldetonator"
WeaponAmmo3      = 4
WeaponChannel3      = 1

Just copy the odf name of the gun/weapon you want into the   ="" slots.
Ex.  WeaponName1               ="imp_weap_lightsaber"

And make sure you change the WeaponAmmo1 to equal 1
Ex.   WeaponAmmo2       = 0

Or else your lightsaber can only swing like, 5 times xD

(if you are working with the REP jettrooper, its  WeaponName1                 ="rep_weap_lightsaber")

Edit: This is in the UNITS odf file

I'm saying you need to start at the base and build your way up, it makes things a lot easier.

ComSharpshot explained it perfectly so i don't know what you are doing wrong.

Go into a units .odf and find the weapons. Then change the first weapon name to the name of the lightsaber .odf in that side file.

So if youre using imperials it should look exactly like RC explained. (WeaponName1      = "imp_weap_lightsaber")

Attachment of the jettrooper's odf, and a lightsaber.odf that he uses.
I attached lightsaber odf, because it has a deflect option at the bottum, I thought you might like that.

If it crashes after you use these, its not the trooper's fault, or the saber, you will most likely need to go in the BFbuilder assets, and sides for republic, and copy the REP folder, and delete the one in Side.lvl Builders/REP/Sides/
and replace it, then copy these odfs into the odf folder.
Then it is garenteed to work, unless you find some magical way to make them not. (https://www.swbfgamers.com/Smileys/macx/wink.gif)
