I just got the PC version of SWBF I working on my Mac when Gamespy shut down the servers. :( Now, I can't join a PC hosted GameRanger game. When I try to join, I think the the game starts but it just times out, counts all the way to 59 sec then stops without joining a game in progress. And there is no Mac version of Tunngle, so I can't play there. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be? I have the Mac version of BF I installed and no problem joining a Mac hosted game. Running OSX 10.6.8. I'm very slow when it comes to computers not even sure how I got the PC version to work on my Mac, Kit walked me through that.
ah, sorry to hear this hit just as soon as you got the PC game :(
Maybe we can figure something out. I will think on it, and try to get SleepKiller to help :)
edit: Can you install gameranger for PC?
