Title: HTML Help
Post by: Ultimo on October 02, 2012, 10:02:23 AM
The Following Text I have been trying to correctly place in HTML code. It does not work wherever I try. It's supposed to be a little embed box that can play a certain song. The text has been copied directly from the site I got it without change.

DJ Manian - Welcome to The Club Now<br><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.4shared.com/flash/player.swf?ver=9051" style="" id="ply" name="ply" quality="high" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="false" wmode="opaque" flashvars="file=http://dc606.4shared.com/img/1448105517/910515d4/dlink__2Fdownload_2FbSgjRrDf_3Ftsid_3D00000000-000000-00000000/preview.mp3&amp;volume=50&amp;" height="20" width="200"><br>Powered by <a href="http://mp3skull.com/">mp3skull.com</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://mp3skull.com/embedcl.php"></script>

I can't tell exactly what is wrong, but it would help if the site didn't automaticly wrap the html coding..  it would be easier to read.

He could have put it in a code window.

Don't post unless you have something constructive to add.

And, quit complaining, I know who you are and you are on thin ice around here.

Eh, Not quite sure How I am on thin ice, but Okay.
And what do you mean "Stop Complaining" ? That barely meant anything (all websites on the internet would wrap the text automaticly) and its the first time I have done so..
It sounds like someone is running on a temper tonight.
Sorry if I'm bugging you.... Sheesh.

Edit:: OH I see, Kishan behind the scenes... Yeah, if hes been telling you stuff about me, you might double check.. We don't exactly have a good past.

You have a past with me--

and a present that has already included triple posting, useless posting, accusing users of this site of wanting to steal your mods, and whining about not wanting to read tutorials.

Straighten up or ship out.

I added the html and body tags, but thats enough to get the IE screenshot below.
It 'works' in that it loads the player.
No sound though.
I think it might be because 4shared is serving a download page for the file= part.
They probably don't allow hotlinking. (I'm completely guessing on that)
