Title: switching from 1.0-1.1-1.2 versions of BF1
Post by: RepComm on September 23, 2012, 02:07:24 PM
Is it possible to change the version of your game like modding? or do you hafto have a disk or something? I'd really like to play the other "realms" of the game, i think it would be INCREDIBLY neat, like the matrix, hoping from one world to another!

brings topic back to top so someone will not bypass it*

No no, not the type of playing, the version of the game...  in playing mode 1.0 would be no pilots or something, 1.2 is sniper-rocketeer-soldier only (or something)   I mean the game itself.

If you want to play the 1.0 version of the game, you will need the original 1.0 game as it came on a set of CD's.  You may be able to find this on ebay.  Or, something called a no-CD crack, which we don't discuss here.

Other than that, that is all you need.  I recommend you copy your 1.2 game folder to another folder, and then replace the EXE file, and remove and Addon folder.

I just remembered this from the Rules topic: Do not bump your own topics unless they are over thirty days old. Sorry about that :S

Call it whatever you want, but as I already said, No-CD is something that we don't discuss here.
