Well since we in DDT are doing this. i thought i would be fun if any1 els wanted to do it.
We have 8 teams
in every team are 2 people who should kill the others 20 times.
Rules:
No specials (jets, droidica's, wookie's)
When the first team reaches 10 kills the teams chance sides.
You may choose your own partner
And the winning team will fight against each other
NO Bots or Cp's

works well. just that the rules are toooo strict. people should be able to choose their partners and people should be able to choose their own maps and unit based rules

I agree with you Zorba. It's a rather ludicrous rule. I was initlally reluctant to join this because of that rule. Unfortunately, I think will just have to be annoyed and leave it at that.

It's up to the groups to get the matches done, so whenever is good for you should work as long as it is within a reasonable time (more than 2 week is starting to push it)

The only thing that we should disallow are the pilots and the Flyable troopers. Those are really abused (especially the Jet Troopers and Zappy) so the tourney is better off without them.
In fact, the only thing I would allow is rockets but I don't think people would agree with me. Maybe in another tourney we can have that possible.

I think no units should be banned because usually people switch sides halfway through, and you have the option of choosing "cheap" units just as the other side has.

Rex, Destructor, JK and I are finding it hard to have our match, as we can't join JK's DC, Destructor's Internet's messed up and Rex and I have no clue how to host a DC, and JK can't teach us, because we're stupid . But, everything else is fine.

Come on guys, matches won't get done with magic. Communicate with your teammate and opponents about scheduling your matches. Every person who signed up for the tourney has an MPC account, so a PM about the tourney should work fine, if he or she doesn't get on gameranger very often.
The reason my match hasn't gotten done is because Rhino's at a choir camp or something.
