What happens when there are no planning hubs/connections set up in a map? Do the ai just remain stationary or do they bolt for the nearest cp?
They go straight for the nearest CP. The usually run into stuff on the way there and never even make it to the CP.
Sometimes, it is enough only barriers, but if you make them too many, AI just can't calculate each one, and start to "meditate". In this case, you have to give them "railroad" (planing), so, they no need to think too much anymore :wacko:.
If you have a large map filled with barriers plans are the easy part. Not having planning is okay on a not too big and not too many obstacles to get stuck on. Else one should just use it.
