Post by: Epifire on September 07, 2010, 01:19:16 PM
Even while logged in I have seen this replace countless sigs, and avatars.

I don't know what causes this, but has anyone else had this issue?

In a effort to claim its perpose I believe its on a crusade to destroy MPC.      :P

Always. I told JK about it but he says that he doesn't get it.

The temporary solution is to hit refresh, it usually fixes it.

Not that its the end of the world, but as far as conspirisies go I think it is out to get the best of our profiles.
Cause its doing it again to your avatar as well.   :XD:

Probably just a permissions issue- the gallery isn't visible to nonmembers. Are you consistently logged in or do you log in and out between your visits?

Yeah dark sun is saying the exact same thing that happens with me to. Even when logged in it does that with random ones.

There is this thing called browser caching. If you log in after downloading an image, then it will not be redownloaded in the cache.

This is why hard refreshing works. You need to stay logged in all the time.

Nope. Doesn't work. Tried it multiple times.

I doubt you are properly refreshing. Press control and F5 at the same time. This clears the cache for your current page.

If you just press the button or F5 by itself, it won't clear the page cache.

^The explanation and solution.

This is a bit of an issue for me because I usually check topics without logging in, however Control+F5 works well enough.
