does anyone know how to take videos for swbf on mac. I dont think you can use xfire for mac correct?
No Mac Xfire client supports video recording.
The only way to record SWBF is to buy a screen recording software or get a free one.

Those are the best of the recording apps i've personally used with screenflow being the best IMO, they all work on Leopard and Snowleopard, if your not running Leopard however one or two of them might not, some of them have Tiger versions tho so just look around.
There are more, and free screen recorders out there but i've not tried them all so feel free to google around if you don't like the suggestions i've given.
