Title: Partition limit
Post by: Soap Mactavish on June 25, 2010, 01:41:15 PM
ok so i am trying to make a large partition of my hard drive to install Windows on. the problem is that my computer will not let me make a partition larger than 80GB. (my goal is 120). whenever i try and partition larger than 80-ish then i get an error message which tells me to try and reduce my partition change. i would just Back up and restore my Hard drive but i dont have an external hard drive. any ideas to solve this?

I am using mac OS x disk utility to partition the hard drive. would it be helpful if I intially formatted the partition to free space then formatted to NTFS for Vista ultimate during the installation?
