Title: REcording ingame
Post by: quik on June 13, 2010, 11:14:36 AM
I lag when I record in game, and I never do.

Is it because of my /noframelock?

Fraps

Fraps will eat up your resources, like any other screen recording software. The only thing you can do is either upgrade your computer or turn down the video settings.

Well, try it without noframelock and see :)

I use fraps and have no trouble, though i do not use the noframelock command.

Fraps also has a lot of settings for resolution, you may also try to cut those down too.

I always say to make your xfire videos folder as small as possible, it helps. The xfire options tab has many video settings which might not be your problem if you have recorded fine in the past.

I did :) It didn't lag. I also assumed I was going to lag anyways, because fraps records at a fix frame rate. Noframelock makes everything go up and down.
