Hi, I think xfire can record desktop. Does anyone know how I could make xfire think the desktop explorer.exe is a game?
Sorry Cull, but that isn't possible :(
To my knowledge, you'd have to run a game then record. For example, I ran TF2 and SWBF at the same time. I started SWBF1 first, enabled xfire, recorded, and played TF2. This made it so my SWBF video was actually a TF2 video.
I doubt this would work on desktop.
If you want to record stuff on your desktop, I think Fraps might do that- don't call me out on it though, I'm not sure.
