Hallo Community,

I wanted to ask you if it´s possible to alter Weapons Stats (RoF,Dmg output, Range, accuracy, etc) in SW:Battlefront 2?.
If yes do I need tools , in this case which one would you recommend me?

Thanks in advance

U're gonna need the SWBF2 Modding tools -- http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=436

After that u'll need to create a "map" and there u'll work on the SIDE mod.
To create the map u must go to the _BUILD folder (BF2_ModTools\data\_BUILD). Run the VisualMunge and follow the steps it asks u to do.
Then head back to the BF2 Mod Tools folder and u should see there a folder called data_DCM (That's how I called my map, DCM).
Now go to the assets folder. U should see a folder called sides. Copy Common + Imp,Rep,all,Cis, .. .whichever side u wanna edit the weapons to.
Copy those folders and go to the data_DCM folder. Go to the Sides folder and paste the copied folders there.
Now go to the Common>ODF folder and look for whichever weapon u wanna edit. Then save it and go to data_DCM>_BUILD. Run the visualmunge tool and pick to munge EVERYTHING from the SIDEs and leave "Common" ticked. Click on munge and u should have the mods ure looking for in a new folder called _LVL_PC (data_DCM>_LVL_PC).

U have to look for the weapon u wanna modify and then edit whatever it was that u wanted to edit (damage, radius, etc). Once  u change the value save the file.
Do not delete a single file or it will cause a crash.
Also keep in mind that whatever u edit (damage, color, etc) will not be applied to the multiplayer servers unless u are the host.

I meant nobody else will get them changed.

Ok. So the map I created isnt launching at all - but thats ok i hope since we dont need this map.
So I changed a lot of stuff-

I doesnt seem to change a thing.
Im sure I did changed the values and their Dmg output

for example.
Shotgun > Full-Auto-shotgun
TriggerSingle = "0".
should be enough right? than i adjusted the other values so it wont be OP.
Like cutting the DMG bt 2/3 - higher spread - higher RoF - more Clipsize and less shots per Salve.

But yet it didnt changed actually in-game.

Im sry if im bothersome atm but its my very first "mod"

I think i fixed the problem - i needed an MungeFixer in addition to make the Munge properly(since it took only a few sec to finish and caused to crash the game afterwards).
