I also apologise for my attitude with FC yesterday, I don't like mods being used to gain an advantage against me and others but apart from radar no rules were broken and I could have phrased things a bit better. :)

You want to win against us you have to earn it? We will use crosshair and skin mods if we want, but no radar if you want. But we are not going to ruin our fun just so you can have fun. Please stop hating on mods if you want a fun fight.

Sorry I missed this until now - I'll get as many YAKs as possible since it took an hour just for one map last time. YAK has another large planet battle with FC after, they were kind enough to wait last time but I don't want to be late twice.
Edit: I'm not ignoring you by the way Johnis, I agree, I've done my best to make up via pm and now I'm just going to enjoy this game again. This is still a great tournanent. :)

Sorry about the atrocious delay, I have been putting together a portfolio and stuff.
Someone just pointed out to me that FC have attacked YAk on Kamino and Hoth but they're not connected to them, so I thought I should post. I didn't check battles this week so I missed it, YAK is still willing to fight these battles if it's ok with everyone. (I want to get lots of good matches in the last week). :)
Nothing against FC but we should have an ICW without them to see who is Second best.
We need more clans :P Each clan have strengths and weaknesses.. So I am sure FC would not dominate as much if say another clan with tactics that worked vs FC :P Just my theory

Do you really want to take the most active clan out of the tournment? Most of the time it is FC vs a combo of YAK, ELK, 212, and Mercs - just so they have enough people.

There aren't enough people to do the tournament without FC. Besides, it's more fun fighting them than anyone else. lol

FC defended Dantooine. I was admin, I should say there were a few complaints about radar but I didn't see anything myself, overall I would say it was a good game and I would glady fight again if all were like this, YAK were even with FC until they got a CP advantage.

I was admin so I thought it was fair to bring up a complaint, I would have done the same for FC. I actually enjoyed that game and had no problem with any FC there, we lost but put up a good fight. I am trying to balance everyones opinions out here, please respect that. Also sending me threats over X-fire is pretty low, please keep the game and real life seperate.

The rest of the players are probably on the bottom of the score board thing because they got no kills.
That said, Anyder does tend to play with FC a lot more now. ::)

Scorpion asked me to admin, I got there just after the start. FC defended Utapau the only compaint was that 212 used some pre mines but given the result I don't see any need to act on that given the result. Also when I got back from typing this up Joseph typed 'I'm using radar' so I expect 212 would like me to mention that. Both teams gained and lost a few players during the match but never ent over the starting numbers. I have a screenshot of the score but I'm really late for where I was supposed to be now...

I only used the radar built into the game which displays when the enemy reinforcement is low, don't worry.

It could be possible, but I would need to know dimensions. If I'm not to pressured throughout the week, I might fancy them. They only thing I need to know is what the awards would say. Aside from predictions, if I am elected to make the awards, It would truly be a great honour for me to do such.

The tourney is over. Leaving this here on the forums only tarnishes what the ICW2 was.
I wouldn't mind if we kept playing for another week. I would rather conquer the entire galaxy than just most of it. Plus I think it keeps people active in the game and it is a lot of fun IMO.

There was a more in depth discussion I had with Oven over xfire about it, which he stated a strong possibility of setting up weekly battles. Its not posted in this thread but he said hes working on it.
I don't think it would be too difficult to have each clan attack once per week. That way each clan only has to make 2 or 3 battles per week (One attack, and maybe one or two defenses). And for clans that are eliminated I suggest something I think was done in a previous tournament. An eliminated clan like ELK could once per week "revolt" on a planet of their choosing, or something along those lines. Just some food for thought.

Hello, sorry for being absent these last few days; I've been very busy. Yes, something along these lines will be implemented soon, and I will try to post a detailed proposal later tonight.
Essentially, this would not be a tournament- no overall winner, no planet map, etc. Rather, it will be an utterly stress-free system where clans can schedule battles whenever they want (up to some small limit per week), on any map and with any number of players, post the details in the right place (several days in advance), and we will set up the server and provide an admin. Any clan (or "team") could join and leave whenever they want; it will be a "free market". And it will last indefinitely, as long as there is interest.

Well darnit. Since I've been studying and doing so much schoolwork for exams next week, I can't think of anything for designing the ICW rewards. I don't know if there is a deadline for when the rewards should be made, but if there isn't, then you might not get your rewards until the week after my exams. :wacko:
Aside from that, if there is a deadline, then I think Led should just make the rewards instead. I would love to make them, but I just don't have any ideas as of right now. :(

You really like that 8th Cargo font, don't ya RC? :XD: Interestingly enough I was going to use sheet metal for my original idea, until I realized the font style I had with it was too dark. :P
Anyways, thanks for the idea, maybe I will try and browse the webs to get an idea for the awards tonight. If I'm lucky, the 240x300 images should be made and uploaded tomorrow. As far as resizing goes, I can't seem to do it properly without losing a bunch of pixels. If you guys know a site where it can resize photos, I will probably use that.

I think Anyder derserves a award for only him. He helped 212, FC, and YAK, I don't know any one else who merced for all 3 clans. He merced very well tbh.
I would be ok with Anyder having the award since he merc for us in a great number of battles but it would be Oven's call I think.

If your trying to get final assignments done, cram for exams, and on top of that being in the midst of helping out on a kitchen reno, you tend to not have time for many things. :dry:
Besides, I already made the awards, uploaded them like 2-3 days ago, dunno why they aren't given out yet.
On a side note, I've learned Norris' lesson on patience, besides, I'm quite the patient guy. :P

You are under the mistaken impression that I read all of these threads.
As far as the timing, I must earn the money to pay for the website and servers. It takes away from playing and administrating the website.
If you want awards that look like ICW1 awards, I can do that by this Friday night.
