So I was told killing SPECs is not allowed so here's a clip of who I believe is Merc_Maj_Enten opening fire on purpose towards the specs.

I'm sure most modders keep backups of their maps and mods, but this will take a long time to restore. I think a lot of BF2 Mods are on GT, but not all of them. The same situation is here for BF1 mods. I have about +100 BF2 Mods on my laptop (If I haven't deleted them) so later today I'll try to look through that.

Just finished playing around with it and so far I really like it, all my apps work, games run fine, like some of the new visuals and finally screwing around with some new stuff (I.e. Cortana and wallpapers). Also if you want to change that wallpaper on the login screen here's a link on how to do that. Also enjoy the new pop-ups you'll get fir suspicious files (Disregard the MatPat...)

Try opening the files on the CD and then look for a Setup.exe, like for BF.

Considering I've so far had everything run smoothly on 8.1, excluding BF1 (Something with the ICW5 pack forced me to run it in Comp Mode.) If all else fails for all my apps, I can just run in Comp Mode for 8.1. Especially since some of my apps are a bit finicky (Still waiting for ElDewrito 2.0) But, that inner Software Dev geek inside is forcing me to update my computer.
EDIT: Also, I can run a Operating System on my Raspberry PI that won't make it crash when trying to go online now *Cough cough* RaspMC *Cough* But on the other hand, I'll lose my free Minecraft...

Less people play BF2 now on GameMaster but gameplay wise, I think it's better

Released Maps and Mods / Re: Kejim Supplies Depot Alpha
July 03, 2015, 08:07:56 PM
Ahhhhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaa, been waiting to play this for a while. I'll edit this post later.
EDIT: So far, I think is is a very-well made map. the layout is nice and cozy yet opened up for vehicle combat. The Empire CP is awesome, mainly because of the AT-ST hanger. I enjoyed blasting way Rebels in the turbolaser (Getting a control panel for the laser would be nice though.) The two main complaints I have is that 1. Model placement. Some of the rocks were out of place (Such as the rocks with the oil pies coming out of it.). Also, the entrance to the turbolaser room was missing a wall on one side. 2. Lighting. It was a bit off walking through the dark-lit corridors without any light shining through. Overall it is a very well put together map and i can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it.
P.s. Thank you for acknowledging the skydome.

Tech Support / Re: Ideal PC Builds for The New SWBF?
July 02, 2015, 08:42:23 PM
I would personally recommend the latest Alienware computer and the newest addition to my collection of otherwise broken computers, the Alpha Console. They come in four different models ranging from $500-$850, the best comes with a 2TB drive and a i7 (The model I have). Each model has a custom-built Maxwell GTX GPU (I read it's equal to the power of a 860M.) The bottom model isn't worth the $500 (It's a lower-end i3, 500Gb Hard Drive, and 4Gb of Ram.) Although the better models are more worth the price. It comes with the Alienware Hivemind OS (RaspMC with Alienware addons) on top of 8.1. It also ships with a 360 controller, which I find very handy with playing a slightly-illegal F2P game meant only to be played in Russia that rhymes with Dalo: Gnline. Overall it's a great little computer that can load 250 gigs of games two days out of box.

P.S. They are cheaper on Amazon and still come with everything you can get directly from Alienware.
