Other Games / Re: Activision Steam sale

I'm not big on any FPS games (I'm more for Third-Person and RPG), but I can say that BO2 was pretty good on PS3.  I really only played it with my brothers and their friends in Multiplayer and Zombies and by myself occasionally.  All in all, if you enjoy a well-done FPS and maybe even throw in a little for some pretty good DLCs, that's the game for you.

If you have SWBF2 but never play it (like me) I will just assign the SWBF award
This is me.

There's been attempts at a multiplayer port, but unless I missed something, they've all been met with crashes upon start.  I wish they would work, but something hits the limits of multiplayer.

check your email box. I will give you an information

Majesty,
I would prefer that if you are helping someone with a solution you don't send them to their message box.  The tech support section is meant to be set up so that all people can help others and so that there is documentation for later.

Did you use the GameMaster Auto-installer or did you install it manually?  Also, I vaguely remember getting binkw32.dll errors once in while while trying to start Battlefront but I can't remember why... even though I remember it being in there.  I think it had something to do with the .exe being funky.

Cool!
By functional, I just meant I saw a lot of buttons and wondered if they all worked yet. :)

That's cool.  Are all those legions functional?  That would be amazing to be able to use any of them whenever you wanted.
I was just thinking that Sleepkiller did something like this for BF1 (I believe it was called "Legion Changer" or something).  I don't think it was to the extent that yours was however (from what I saw in your video).

I want the jetpack and missile launcher.  And while I'm at it, throw in that air strike too.  Also, give me excellent graphics and explodey things, and that's a game that I want.

As long as they are a prop, you should be fine.  But, isn't the BF1 Naboo Prototype Asset pack available for download somewhere (like here)?  At the very least they are on Psych0Fred's website (Secretsociety.com).  Click on Battlefront Modders and then navigate to downloads

Tech Support / Re: Failed to save

That's a weird problem.  I have a few questions.
1.)  Is the game playable?  Can you sit and play ingame without any issues arising?
2.)  Does it say on the start screen "Cannot Save Profile" or something like that?
3.)  Are there any messages on the desktop after you try to save?
4.)  Can you grant "Full Control" to the folder?  (right-click on the folder, properties, permissions I believe)

Thanks!

You should probably check out Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, too. The singleplayer campaign isn't as good as Outcast, but it's still pretty fun, and there's a lot of cool new features in the game for both modes, like character customization, choosing saber hilts and the ability to use dual sabers or a doublesaber. Not to mention all the cool mods for MP. (ForceMod 3 and JA+ are personal faves of mine.)

EDIT: Also, the game's second SP level makes for a great sandbox environment for messing around with cheat codes. (It has all (or at least most) of the cheat codes from Outcast.)

I actually played Jedi Academy almost 10 years ago in Multiplayer with my cousins (a couple years after playing JKDF2 online all the time).  Then, about 5 years ago I think, I actually got Academy and played through it.  Yeah, it had it's bright moments and was a great game, but there were always the same levels that you didn't do because they were too frustrating.  I personally liked to use the cheats on the level with Wedge, kill all NPCs and have fun there.  If I'm right, the 2nd level had to do something with the big wormy things, which was my favorite level to cheat on.

I just finished Jedi Outcast for the first time, and I'll have to say, I enjoyed it a lot.  There's a lot of hack and slash, but there's also puzzles throughout the game.  Throughout the first 6 levels, it turned into one of my favorite games (even without a lightsaber.  Yeah, I know, some people really HATE not having a lightsaber, but I enjoy the challenge, and I'm more of a ranged fighter anyway).  The rest of the game did not disappoint.  You might want to play Jedi Knight Dark Forces II (one of my other all-time favorites) before you play this, but it is not necessary. :)
