Umm... This may be an issue...

Any fix to this?

So this is a common problem I'm having and before, I could just fix it by running it as Administrator. Now it doesn't even work once I do that.
Anyone else know any way to resolve this issue? I've got a map idea and want to give it another go.

Just found out why which may help you too ;)
I just chose it to Run as Administrator and it worked for me. Just a simple mistake I'd made

I also get that same thing when I open a new map for the first time, but it usually goes away the second time I open it. Doesn't really affect anything to my knowledge

Methods above don't work for me, even though they did before :/

Any ideas?

Your file folder path has a space in it.

That is a no-no for the mod tools.  (but that may not be the only issue)

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

Still didn't work :/ I change the path so there was absolutely no spaces yet I got the same error. Any other ideas?

Did you try this?
C:\BFBuilder

There are 2 editions of zeroeditor, dec 2004 and jan 2005, make sure you use the newer one

Also there's a patch from oct 2011 in SK's dagobah assets but i don't recall what it does.

I'm using the 2005 one. I've tried your suggestion yet still no luck :(

Just going to mention, I'm still getting this error.

This is the Mod Tools I'm using: http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1219

I've looked on some previous posts too and not a single person has found a legit fix yet. Anyone on Windows 10 able to get this working?

Wanted to bump this post. Phobos suggested using this path:
C:\BFBuilder

I tried that but it didn't work. Instead I just managed to fix my Zero Editor. I got the UPDATED version and moved the folder "BFBuilder" to "C:\LucasArts\" and then loaded up BFBuilder Pro.
When I attempted to edit my map at first, it came up with the same error. However, like what happened on Windows 8.1, the second attempt worked. I was then in Zero Editor. I decided to close it and then "Edit" again and it opened normally. I have no idea why this worked and why it didn't do this for Phobos' suggestion but apparently this works. I'm on Windows 10 Home Build by the way.

Sorry for the triple post, I figured it would be necessary considering there is a lot of people having the same problem. I hope this works for some of you, if not all ;)
