There should be no checking of CD keys on this.  At least not that I could imagine.

As far as BF1 goes, please tell us if you have:
1.) Any mods installed at all.  Some things go weird with trying to play online.
2.) Any connection issues in the past with your ISP.
3.) Firewall that keeps you from connecting.  There is usually a Windows Firewall, and then your router may have a firewall.  Also, certain antivirus programs may cause issues if they believe that the connection to other servers is a threat.  I have heard of things like this in the past, but never with SWBF.

Also, LION, please stay on topic.  I know you are excited, but there is a thread for SWBF Days.  Thanks!

Sauce seems to be having the same problem with the white box loading, and just hanging there.

In theory, yes.  Tunngle and Gamemaster work together, but Gameranger, if I remember right, is kind of weird with how it runs the games.

That would be an interesting idea.  The hero spawner is somewhere in my assets.  But I do not believe you can specify ammo to one weapon.  Now I did get an interesting bug one time where I had -1 (that's right, negative 1) ammo.  I could only use the weapon once and it wouldn't reload.  I think I did keep that level file somewhere, just because I was appalled at -1 ammo actually firing to 0, instead of a basic subtract 1 counter, which meant it would have kept going down to negative infinity.

Once you're in, no problem.  But it seems that everyone is experiencing hanging upon hitting the Internet option.  Servers are still running, but no one else could join.

We left the server and now I am hanging as well.

Edit:  I checked Gameshare's site and it says there are no servers up.

If you don't wish to replace the exe, the HOSTS file edit is very convenient.  This is what I use and it works.
Now to get everyone to join some day and test the limits of the GameMaster.

We should play the Hyperion maps.  And Ord Mantell: No Greater Glory is awesome.

I have to agree on The Box arc of episodes.  I really enjoyed that one.
And any episodes with Mandalorians.  I think Mandalorians are awesome.
And Hondo the pirate and Cad Bane were always interesting characters that I enjoyed.

At least after all these years they found some way to explain Sifo-Dyas.  Always bothered me in Episodes II and III how they NEVER explain who he is.  For a while, I thought maybe he was a Sith Lord that hadn't shown up yet.  Until I googled it and he just... died.  And Dooku knew about the army.

LoL, I was just about to say that I tried this last night and could mine climb on PS2 :)  Apparently we've already covered this.

I am still wondering why there are differences like that between PS2 and PC.  Like the cool glowing bars under the steps on CC that Sleepkiller pointed out on PS2 and the fact that there are planes on Naboo: Plains on PS2.
Also, there's an invisible ammo droid on CC on PS2 that is visible on PC (between forward flank and walkway).

Didn't we decide that it could be done in PS2 version?  That would seem to make sense.  Guess later today I'll have to break out the PS2 and see.

Ok, here is what I've learned after living my whole life with Dial-up Internet at home:
56kbps (40 is the real max at home) does teach you a few things.

First question is:  What are you trying to do?  Download gigantic files or casual web surfing?  Playing older games or trying to play Internet-taxing MMOs?

Older games should chug along fine if you are playing them online.  Tunngle has dwindled that capability, but if you can connect to Tunngle you are further than Dial-up ever got me.  Casual web surfing should work just fine too.  If you find your websurfing times are slow, consider getting something like an accelerator or look through the settings on your browser and turn off images.  Normally that will bring your load times down.  There are certain things like download accelerators and other small things that could work, but just be careful when going through this stuff.

But, that's just the basic stuff on your end.  Sometimes, this will not solve your problems.  The other options?  Well, other Satellite Internet providers could be able to give you good prices and speeds, but you may really have to watch your usage.  Although I can see you preferably want cable.  The policy in many areas (including mine) is that so many people had to sign a petition and pledge to use the new Internet if they ran the cables through, which can pay itself off for both sides in the long run.

The reason I could not go this route was due to the fact I was in a rural area (nowhere, no neighbor for a mile), so we could not get signatures other than us.  Your area sounds like it could do this.

Other than this, I can't help much.  At least it's not 56 kbps (we go to relative's houses and use theirs for downloads and videos).
