Can't Add Friends in Xfire

When I go to "Invite Friends" or "Add Friends" I get these errors. What's going on?

In Camino it says "xfire is not a registered protocol"

In Safari it says "Safari can't open "xfire:add_friend?user=bac11410" because Mac OS X doesn't recognize Internet addresses starting with "xfire:" "

Opera "You tried to access the address xfire:add_friend?user=bac11410, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page."

These are links I'm clicking, why aren't my browser's recognizing them?

First off what app are you using? I can explain how to use most of them.

Secondly, almost none of the features (add friend) and such work in the browser, so if your on the site it won't really work because what xfire does is use the application itself to make those happen even if you click it in the browser, on a mac we don't have the application set for that so we can't.
