I just got the PC version of SWBF I working on my Mac when Gamespy shut down the servers.     Now, I can't join a PC hosted GameRanger game. When I try to join, I think the the game starts but it just times out, counts all the way to 59 sec then stops without joining a game in progress. And there is no Mac version of Tunngle, so I can't play there.  Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be? I have the Mac version of BF I installed and no problem joining a Mac hosted game. Running OSX 10.6.8. I'm very slow when it comes to computers not even sure how I got the PC version to work on my Mac, Kit walked me through that.

Does anyone know the name of, or where to find the Yuuzhan Vong map of Mustafar Refinery? I used to have it but might have lost it.

Now GameRanger allows for PCs and Macs to play Battlefront together (well supposedly). But when I try to join a PC hosted game I get "Version Mismatch" error. And when I host a room, the PC guys don't see any maps listed to join. I never had any trouble joining DC hosted games from PCs. Are there 2 different camps/versions the PC players use maybe?

Some units you can play as; Jango Fett, General Grievous, Count Dooku, Shaak-Ti, Battledroid C3PO (this unit is awesome), just to name a few new characters.

For EaG MPE, I have altered the teams in order to pick units that are balanced well against the other team even if it means the teams are not accurate to the movie. Most of the units have also been enhanced (more ammo, different weapons, move faster, fewer weaknesses, etc) so that they are a little less reliant on help from teammates. The CIS units especially have been given weapons/abilities to help them better kill Jedi who can deflect their shots. See the character list below for a list of some of those changes.

Both teams have equal reinforcements and equal number of units on the map at once (unlike in the regular EaG); neither team has an allied locals team.

When I go to "Invite Friends" or "Add Friends" I get these errors. What's going on?

In Camino it says "xfire is not a registered protocol"

In Safari it says "Safari can't open "xfire:add_friend?user=bac11410" because Mac OS X doesn't recognize Internet addresses starting with "xfire:" "

Huge Scale map, 500 reinforcements. Battlefield is in a canyon with sheer cliffs all around. Good things there are a few ships to fly, that's the only way out. But the only action is in the canyon and it's plenty big enough to use the ship.

Apple says that users of Tiger 10.4 would need to buy the $160 box set of Snow Leopard to upgrade to 10.6.

I read an article from August of 2009 saying that the $29 Snow Leopard 10.6 upgrade disc, for upgrading from Leopard 10.5,  will upgrade Tiger 10.4, saving $140.

Has anyone heard this or have tried this? I want to upgrade to Snow Leopard and would like to save $140.
