Chat problem

I've been having a strange problem with chat recently where everything I type comes up twice. For example typing 'hi' comes up as;
{PLA}gdh92: hi
{PLA}gdh92: hi

I reset my game and internet but it still happens and I can't find a fix (I have no mods installed). The even stranger thing is it only happens on {PLA}cloudcity fastspawn server. if I join another server including CFC escape with people in it seems fine.
Also when I joined the fastspawn server it said gdh92 has killed teammate then the same again which I know can happen but then it said I had killed a player on the other team with a mine before I started playing. The teammate kill happened straight away in the next server I went to aswell.

Am I missing something obvious or is this some weird glitch where I'm taking up multiple player slots?

The server most likely needs to be reset. These kind of strange bugs and glitches start occurring more frequently the longer a specific server session is hosted.

I had the same problem, only on fastspawn, and TcF Allied server.
