Eliad has been experiencing problems with the SWBFII.exe lately. Whenever he tries to load a map (MP or SP) he gets an exe crash.
We've tried the following things:

- Using the compatibility mode (Win XP)
- Running it as an administrator
- Getting the audio disabled
- Reinstalling the game

Does anyone have any other suggestion ?

Apparently a SWBFII player called ulqui told me that he's not able to play swbf2 anymore (after replacing the SWBF2 exe for SWBFSpy)
He says it's cause of DirectX 11 or something like that, is anyone (who has win10) able to tell him what he can do to fix it ?

Installing SWBFSpy: What to take into account

1) Make sure you download the proper file (Client / Server)

2) Make sure you overwrite the old file (or if you wanna keep the old file, just rename the old one to "BattlefrontII - Gameshare.exe" and paste there the new one).

3) If you're not gonna download the autoinstaller, I'll remind you that you need WinRar to extract the files (Or any other program similar to this one) -- WinRar Download link ( http://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0 )

4) Make sure you have installed it correctly at the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\  SWBF1 or SWBF2 Folder \GameData -- There u should find Battlefront.exe or BattlefrontII.exe (Check for last modification date --> It must be 5/28/16 or later)
*Note: If the OS is 32-bit, omit the (x86)

5) If their game was bought through Steam, the location of the game folder will be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common

Now, if u're crashing try these solutions:

- Enable stereo mix
How to Enable Stereo Mix:
Start > Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab > If you don't see Stereo Mix, right click and select Show Disabled Devices > Enable Stereo Mix
(If you still don't see Stereo Mix, try to plug in a mic and enable it)

- Run as admin; go to right click on the entire SWBF2 folder (located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) and going to:
Properties > Security > Edit > Choose your User > give it full permissions by clicking the Allow on everything there > Apply. > Advanced > Add Permissions if you like > at the top change OWNER to your main User. > hit Apply. > then go back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common > click SWBF2 > GameData > right click on SWBF2 > at the top it should say Run as Administrator, try to run it that way, if that doesn't help, right click again > go to Properties > Compatibility > Run the program in Compatibility Mode. In Security make sure you have admin rights there also, simply go to security and check. click Edit to change Permissions, click Advanced to change Owner and more Permissions just like before with the SWBF2 folder.

- Delete vidmode (vidmode is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC )

- Plug something into microphone port
