Since not everyone can use tungle or gameranger, I will attempt to do a single player tournament. There will be five different things I will award to ( I do not know how to make awards, if anyone will do them for me that would be nice.) Only swbf1 stock maps.
A. Most kills
With vehicles: Leader: {212} Nixo 218-0
Without: Leader {212} Nixo 80-3
B. Best game. (Many kills few deaths)
With vehicles: Leader: {212} Nixo 218-0
Without: Leader: {212} Nixo 80-0
C. Most kills no deaths
With vehicles: Leader: 218-0
Without: Leader: None
D. Funniest screenshot
E. CP capturer.

Game must be set on hard, no heroes. Only crosshair and skin mods allowed. NO CHEATING! Screenshots NOT a must, unless its for the funniest screenshot award. Please be honest
If you three or more people suspect someone is cheating the cheater will be booted. If someone tries to boot many people from the tournament to few the competition, they will be disqualified from tournament. If there are any questions, please ask them.
Tournament starts on November 17. Tournament ends January 1 If no one joins by December 1 tournament will be called off. Any one can join at any time during the tournament.

It would be hard to see if someone is lieing, but, for some of us this will be the only way to compete against others.

I think u cant have more than 200 kills in a custom map (Maybe 250) But u cant kill all AIs...

radar, really? i think you might have forgotten: radar is always on in single player. so i dont see how it could be called cheating. maybe something like wall hacking would be, if it was against tourney rules.
It is only always on on Easy, as per the tournament rules he set in place it would be played on Hard. In which radar is disabled.

This seems like the best idea. That way the sides can be monitored along with the map. :)
I think what we should do, if possible, is record a full vid of us doing the single-player, that way we can analyze the gameplay, and see who would be ranked up. Perhaps do a set of certain stock maps perhaps? And by recording we could use X-Fire (most likely), or Fraps, etc.

Whats a side map? Rules for mod maps in the tournament, They cant make killing any easier. Any map that doesnt make killing easier is fine.

Sometimes kills can be made easier by poorly placed spawn hubs and connections. AI will sometimes just stand there and zone out doing nothing until killed or moved by force. Also the AI have several other limitations that need to be kept in mind. Basically, I recommend first testing the potential mod maps thoroughly with various quantities of AI on each difficulty to ensure it would meet your tournament standards.
Ok so I have decided no custom maps, but, swbf2 maps will be allowed.
I suggest one of Sereja's SWBFII maps. Because they are the most stable with no bugs, and he has sides and that will prevent someone from editing the sides. AND his maps don't work if you don't have the stock sides in your SIDE folder! Sounds like it qualifies! :cheer:
Does everyone understand the rules to the tournament? remember that its any map you can play as long as its stock swbf or a swbf2 map.
I suggest Tantive IV with Kit's patch (Im not saying I dislike the original one)

It's the ship that get's attacked in Episode IV.
Yea, tantive IV is awesome, but your stuck on that map with: 1. to many deaths because you follow the troops 2. You win in like 2/3 mins and killed but 10 guys (with capturing CP's) 3. Your stuck in defending your last CP.
And about killing, it's very hard to do this. I got a large map with tuskens, naboo guards and the normal Clones vs Droids, on this map i once got about 241 kills and 3 or 4 deaths. The reinforcement count was about 500, the bots stood still, and you had the opportunity to use vechiles. The bonus on such a map is that you can make more kills then the reinforcement count because of tuskens and naboo guards.
What i suggest is that you'll use a standard map, with no vencheles, no more then 250 reinforcement count, no extra troops (like naboo guards, gun guns, pigs or tuskens).
Also i'd suggest having a standard difficulty lvl, because if somebody gets 50 kills on hard it's about 100 on easy...in which way a noob can win from a pro.
What you also can do is split this tournament up in 5 parts.
A tournement for best Sniper, for best trooper, best medic, best missile and best extra (jet, droidica, wookie or emp jet). (with 2 screenshots, one with the kill death ratio and the other with the time you've been a trooper or something like it, so that we can check that it has happened that way.)
Anyways, i hope you understand what i've said (im Dutch xD)...and i'll just have to say good luck!
Lets just stick to stock swbf1 maps. I guess I should have explained how the tournament works better, I dont think people are understanding it. Here is an example:
Person A gets 75 kills on dune sea, Person B gets 89 kills on cloud city. Person A and B can choose any map they want to try and break the record which is 89. We are not choosing a map, all swbf1 stock maps are in play.
Ill play just for fun :D So ill go in single player now and try to win :) If its started...

Every one pick Kamino! My score was 60- 1 on Gameranger with people there :D then i lagged out when the other team had 100 ticks. Kamino is great map to kill bots. I join if i habe time.
I know certain stock map, where you can easy make lot of kills, with no death at all. It is surely Geonosis! I may try to do this 8).

Make sure the record you have set is between November 7 and January 1, those are the only scores that will count!

Nice! But, I just broke your record, 172 kills, 0 deaths, 1 CP! It was an awesome game, I was the last clone and I had a transport ( level was geonosis) and I hovered over my last CP killing geonosians and droids, it was me vs 75 droids not to mention all the geonosians.

I just try, and easy beat kills record: 197 - 0 - 1.
I play as pilot droid at Dune Sea. Just take AAT, and hunting for tuskens 8). Probably, it is possible more high result, but it was my first try :P.

Here's a challenge! Do Geonosis like you did before, but without getting in ANY vehicles for ANY amount of time!
When you finish go to your details of you character and if it says favorite vehicle is should say nothing! :)
