2PM may be too early for FC, and also considering the fact that we will probably be having another 2 huge battles on Hoth an hour later against UEF. It may also be a good idea for the Mustafar battle to be played on Saturday as suggested by ELK, but Rage has the final say in these matters
I have updated my first post. FC is willing to fight on Mustafar at 5PM instead of 6PM to make it more convenient for ELK. We can't go any earlier as we need to set at least a 2 hour time buffer for both Hoth battles.

This time will not work for FC since we have battles at 3PM against UEF and this battle is already as early as we can go. It would have to be between 6-8PM on for either saturday or sunday, or between 4-8PM on friday.

I apologize for the difficulty in scheduling the battle, it seems that time zone differences impose more limits.
This probably won't solve anything because of the short notice, but I am actually free all day tomorrow, so if anyone wanted to play a Thurs match I could be there and I'm sure Buckler wouldn't have a problem hosting.
Maybe we could have the Dantooine battle tomorrow at 4PM? If that works for 212.

Here's the hole story...
On Jabba's a bunch of random people kept joining the server, forcing the ICW members to go into TAB and boot them. Due to this, many people were dying from the opposite team since they were motionless. The non-ICW members were joining on both sides, and YAK offered UEF a rematch even though we were winning at the time. UEF declined, then we won at Jabba's. Once we got to the next map (the battles were over) some UEF members wanted a rematch and were stating all of the problems above.
Since YAK offered a rematch and they declined, I don't think it's fair for them to choose to have a rematch just because they lost.

During both battles, there were random guys joining through the entire match. It got more severe on Jabbas. Both sides had randoms fighting and dying. I repeatedly asked for teams to vote kick these randoms. Mostly, they would do it fast, however as the match progressed, both sides would say something along the lines of, "We don't want to tab, we will lose tickets if we do that". I cannot control servers, so all I can do is ask over and over.
I personally, see no need for a rematch. Both sides had this strain on them. But, I will leave that up to Oven for final say.
On another note, on Mos, 1 YAK named 400lbYAK used a jet mid-battle, and on Jabbas, UEF Smile, cursed once.

Both teams had to deal with random players joining. Both teams had lost tickets to being killed by random players. Both teams may have lost tickets due to pressing tab and vote kicking the random players. Both teams were asked repeatedly throughout the matches to vote kick the random players. Both teams at one point told me something along the lines of " We do not want to tab, because we will lose tickets". Both teams were hurt by these random players.
No one asked me to do anything specifically. The only thing I was asked as the admin present, is to have passwords on future servers. I was never asked to stop or pause the matches. YAK did ask UEF for a rematch mid-battle during the Jabba match. UEF said No.
I will be on vacation to Yellow Stone starting Sunday afternoon, through next Monday, so I wont be able to help out. Good luck to all, and Anyder, I hope you enjoy your euro tourney. Best of luck. Maybe you will show respect to their admins.

The City map has problems with dedicated servers, otherwise why would we bother with a DC? Also, we wouldn't want the hosting clan to be tempted to cut the server if they are losing.

one of the coruscant maps does not work with PC dedicated server software
Sorry that I could not make it on the recent match. I checked the server at the appointed time and there was no one in the SWBFGamer servers at that time. Then I got yanked away from my PC to do some stuff. :XD:

There is nothing in the rules to determine what should be done in this case, for which I apologize. I see no problem in giving Ord Mantell to 212. However Hoth should go to FC, because a precedent for this scenario has already been set earlier in the tournament.

how is it not fair? The tournament rules which have been accessible for a month now clearly state that small planet battles are 8v8. FC announced its attack almost as early as possible, giving YAK plenty of time to bring the members needed. it is YAK's problem if they can't bring the members, don't cry to the rest of us about it please.
you should have read the rules before even thinking about posting something like this in the thread of a tournament that is in its 3rd week, it's just plain dumb.

It may be dumb now I agree but even engaging in a battle 4v8 is pointless and not even worth the time. you may as well have just competed in how many players a clan can round up.
I see [FC] is quite the competitors in this tournament and commend you, but There should be some kind of stipulation on such one sided battles....imo.

to joseph: a simple reminder about the rules is good enough
to Dbiz: it is hard to run and organize a tournament. It is hard for a "pickup" clan to compete. FC is very well organized. Make the most fun out of it that you can. You can design and organize the next tournament if you want. Each one of these things is a learning experience.
This tourament is for fun! SWBF is a game :tu: Stop drinking so much "haterade" lolz and have some fun :D Say little when you lose, and less when you win :P
I can only echo Buckler and Arrow's words here. This tournament was organized purely in the interest of fun; as I have said before, you get out of it what you put into it. That's the hard and fast rule to live by.
