Hands on look at The Old Republic (MMO)

For those who are looking forward to this game here is some first hand remarks.

The gameplay looks fine, though it does look like there are some issues with the game. It's still a Beta so that's to be expected. I'm glad to see the game is turning out to look quite nice  :cheers:

It isn't, but I think if anybody can pull off a good conclusion to the KOTOR series, Bioware can do it.

Man, its changed from the first KotOR and it doesnt seem like much of an RPG as much as a FPS now.

Not anything like an fps. Its basically a more immersive KoToR w/o auto attack.

Yea i didnt mean fps but its different from the first one where you paused and thenn added attacks to the attack menue instead of just pressing a button, more like a shooter.

Well it is different but I don't see how they could keep it the same...in a singleplayer game it's easy to let you pause and add attacks, but it's not like you can pause an MMO, the action has to be continuous. I like both systems, but this one works better for a game like TOR..
