Finally found you guys!

When Lucas shut down the servers I was in a panic.  As the years went on, the panic subsided, I got more sleep and fewer eye cramps, but something has been missing in my life ... UNTIL NOW!   :cheer:

I started on the PS2; I do have the PC version loaded but I was much better with the PS2 controllers I was used to.  Just from some quick reading, it sounds like I might be able to figure out how to get the PS2 back on, or I can make the shift to the new PC and something completely new to me... mod my game?!?

Glad to have found my new family and/or enemies, I'll do some reading on the forums and try to figure out what all I need to do.

Welcome, glad you found us

Tirpider is/was a PS2 player--he may be able to help you with the PS2 options.

We run servers on Tunngle for casual gaming.  A few people are are each night, and we try to have events, too.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

Welcome to the site, hope to see you in game soon.
I played on PS2 for years before I got battlefront for PC but once you get used to a mouse and keyboard I think it is the better version. ;)
I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

Hey there you guy!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZVLUHi9eXA&feature=youtu.be&t=11m26s You know the second to last guy that made a forum like this was a spammer from a french forum site... Well any-who I trust you, no bot will ever prefer console over PC on a site like this.

Thanks guys.  Yah I know, I was a consoler, I admit it.  I tried the PC versions once; I was so bad on the KBM it was embarrassing and I felt so bad for my team that I gave up.  Didn't help to be on an 8-year old PC and almost no free RAM.  I had to pay A LOT of child support (up to about $140K total so far, only 11 years to go!) and used PS2's worked fine and cost $40.  I just built a new 6-core 16GB rig so I'm looking forward to trying again.

Oh, and you will have to let us know how you found us--I am always interested in learning what works  ;)

I think I googled "star wars battle front private server"

sorry I haven't been playing, I moved recently and I cant find my disks.  Soon.

(recently means within the last 12 months with 5 kids and one on the way)

(plug: please vote for child support reform in the USA to model the much more sane version in Sweden)

well I kinda wanted to change my user name after I registered... maybe like High Voltage?  I found I could change how my name was displayed and it was not so bad... I just wanted some caps on the D and M.

I can't wait to start playing, but I am never left alone!  Wife is on bedrest and giving birth in a month or so, mother-in-law just moved in, just went to parent teacher conferences and found 2 of the kids are humping their desks... my garage is a mess and wife wants all the computer parts and anything else unsightly out of sight... boss expects more and more ...  we moved a year ago and I can't find half my stuff... AAAAGH!

regards, AAAGH!
