This is for Windows 64 bit disk version only.

First patch worked sometimes, but not all the time.  This is a quick revised patch that is an attempt to mitigate the problem (without time to figure out a full understanding of the exact problem).  Not fully tested, consider this a beta version 1 but may get you online and playing.  Please let me know if you have success or failure.

Awesome!  I wish there was a way to do this for Steam though. I'm pretty sure Steam doesn't have cdkey registry files, so I think it's impossible to do automatically with a file as convenient as that
