the DOS error indicates that the initial file cannot be created.  Make sure that the folder is not write protected.  Try creating a simple text file in that folder and see if it works.

Also, just to be sure--you are using a PC and not a tablet or Mac or a non-x86 processor?

what version of windows are you using?

Not sure if this will completely fix the issue, but don't use a windows created folder for munging.

Use something like:

C:\missions

as your folder and put the munge tool in there.  Make sure there are no spaces in the folder names.

If you can find the file somewhere, it can be fixed.  Alternatively, since this is a mission mod it is very easy to create your own.

Think of a finished mod map as a compiled program.  If you have the source coded (scripts, lua, etc.) then it can be possible to convert from SWBF2 to SWBF1.  However, once compiled into a final map, it is pretty much not possible.

That said, we have many maps from SWBF2 into SWBF1.  Be sure to check out Sereja's maps in our download area, which include SWBF2 conversions.

Ah, not sure why that would make a difference--are you on PC ?  Have you modded your game otherwise?

yeah, something like the vehicle spawn needs to be assigned to the team

Hard to remember the details...but I think they have to be assigned 'ownership' in either the world setting if not the LUA.

If I recall, I used a macro program to autoload a ban list--but I think it was based in the GUI version of the game.  Auto-IT. 

I can probably find it if needed.

You can also firewall ban from your router or when using a rented server.

Just an FYI--Kalle now includes an empty master server database.  The Github projects are still there but you have to go back in his list to 2016.

My understanding though is that is is source code and not binaries so there is some serious work involved.

As DP mentioned, we have a very stable master server; I own the domain SWBFspy.com for 10 more years, and probably will renew it for another 10 or 20 after that.  The cost to pay for the server rental is not zero but something I expect to be able to keep supporting.   :cheers:
