Zombie Castle Midnight Preview

heres preview HD screenshots for my new mod map zombie castle midnight based on helm's deep
some of the low msh are deformed but only look like that in freecam

Sweet looking map, I love dark blue or orange-ish atmospheres/environments.

Nice! Will this be two levels? That makes for a lot of fun, but extremely difficult pathing.

Like the others said, nice atmosphere.

Some of the zombies spend some time with their nose against the outside of the wall, but once the door breaks open, they find their way.

I like it.

currently the map is GCW only. any suggestions for clone wars?


maybe u could take a pic from a further place, so we can see the whole castle

This mod map will be released publicly as soon as my beta testing team has provided adequate feedback for bugfix and balance improvement. Be warned though, killing zombies can be addicting.

This sounds like it's going to be fun. The gameplay on Helms Deep seems a natural fit for Zombies.

[spoiler]Sort of off topic but it would be amazing if someone could do a map like this where the Zombies got harder as you went further through Helms Deep. I'm not sure if that's possible though.[/spoiler]
I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

It would be possible if there was a way to change spawn timers for each faction, or individual unit ODFs. However the mission LUA only lets you set a global spawn timer, so we can't make stronger zombies spawn the further the level goes. However once they break through the doors, your team dies faster. Play on Hard for the most challenge.

Oh I also discovered a way to make "stupid zombies" and "smart zombies".


Wow, this looks great! I know almost everyone else has said this, but the map's atmosphere looks amazing.

You could use the same sides for CW, but only give the humans one CP and less reinforcements to make it harder and force the humans to have a last stand at their CP. (If there's a CP on the map that would be possible for a good last stand, that is.)

Clone wars just isn't right for zombies, I think it should be GCW exclusive. Of course, thats just my opinion ;)
