Request: Resolution changer

So I'm aware that there is a resolution changer but I couldn't figure out how to install it. And I didn't want to screw up my game.  So could somebody make it so all I have to do is replace files? Like, all I have to do is replace certain files?
If there is something already like it could I get a link?
