Source Engine SDK Tools

Hey guys I was hoping you guys could help me on this, or at least make some thing more clear. Stating out, I am wanting to make maps and so on, through the source engine, but need the SDK package, to do that.

I have steam, cause I know its supposed to be ran through that. But I can't find where you get download the Kit. Couldn't find it on steam. 

Anyone else ever had this problem?

When your viewing the Library tab you'll see a few under it called Games, Media, Tools, and Downloads, you want to choose Tools and look down the list for "Source SDK" its pretty low on the list for me bottom 10.

Due to technical reasons, you'll need to download Alien Swarm first, then you have access to the SDK.

Thanks a bundle. That explains why I couldn't find the SDK download to begin with.
