I have installed some new themes.  Some work better than others.

To set one, please go to:

Profile
Modify Profile then Look and Layout on the dropdown menu
at the top of that section find the line that says Current Theme and click on Change

Click on Use This Theme

Notes about Fire theme:
Not all the buttons are there.

(or click on a recent post and then find the folder structure)

The Black Ibiz seems to work fine.
GreyStyle seems to look good and work fine too.

Let me know what you think or if there need to be changes.

Thanks!

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

Nice.

I'm liking the BlackIbz. Dark and contrast-y in the right places. It has a tech-ish feel, but doesn't beat you over the head with it.
I don't like the giant profile pic on the home page.

Fire, not so much. The brown was interesting for a moment, but distracting.

I like arrangement on Gray Style. (The colors are ok, but not as good as BlackIbz.)
I really dig how Gray Style puts you right into the important stuff on the home page.
It's top navigation bar rocks. If that bar could be put on BlackIbz, it would be perfect imo.

Final call (for me) is BlackIbz. White on black works best for me.

I was using Curve for a long time and had forgotten what the site banner looked like (heh.)
Thanks for running a groovy site :)

BlackIbiz is nice but the text is too dark for me. A bright green or white would work better I think.

I will run GreyStyle for few months, this is a nice theme but maybe too wide

ok, i put one more option in--maybe that's enough for a while, but you are welcome to let me know if there is another option that you like and I can install it :)

For the themes that people use, I can try to put in new banners that look SWBF-ish.

I'm not sure if users can change default colors, but there may be a way that I can change the option file for an individual user.  (Time to talk to JediKiller again!)

Nice, I like having a few options for themes. I'll be using BlackIbz for awhile now.

Talk about resurrecting old topics..

Here's a new thing I've come to love lately!
Styl-us (I was using Stylish, but there were securety implications and I switched) is an Addon (at least for firefox, I use chrome only for my projects and haven't tested it) thing-a-ma-bob that does user styles for websites.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/styl-us/
edit- Its a chrome thing too: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylus/clngdbkpkpeebahjckkjfobafhncgmne?hl=en

Stylish themes are compatible with Styl-us, so I've uploaded mine to that main site.

I've been messing with my first one, which is for this site, for two days now.

Still a lot of things to work out, but the immediate impact is something I've very happy with.
I'll work on this in my off time. Screen shots are on that page if you need them.

After the bugs are worked out and everything is nice and dark, I'll start doing the fun css animation and transition stuff. Maybe even some svg, what the heck.
